Oh, Yuunagi no Machi, how nice! The manga was stunning indeed - before I read it, I knew about all the prizes it got and feared it would not live up to my expectations, but it really did. I'm on my 1280px laptop, so the layout is a little screwed, but it still looks good to me. :)
You have quite an impressive to-read-list, but mine is not much better, I suppose. Oh right, and there are quite a few obscure titles that are not in the MAL database, especially older Moto Hagio-type one-shots.
So, why don't you just use the same style for your anime list? Ah, you make me want to play with my lists too now, heh. I have yet to figure out which series I want to use though.

The pleasure is mine. I especially think that the large white space of 'nothing' beautifully conveys this YKK atmosphere that I like so much, thus my first comment. ;)
I can't see your manga list, but from what I can see on your history, you have read quite a lot of nice things. I joined MAL years later than Manga-Updates so yeah - double lists are a hassle and I find it very convenient that Manga-Updates filters out everything I don't want see (shounen-ai, yaoi) and marks the things I read with a symbol.
That's why I try to keep my whole MAL anime-centered (I also only have directors in my favorite people, no favorite manga etc.)

Ah, of course, I love the manga (my MAL manga list is far from complete and since I keep a list on Manga-Updates, the motivation to keep one here is rather small). I think the OVA got such a comparably low rating from me because I find the atmosphere in the manga much more beautiful than the OVAs ^^;; (I am a big fan of the soundtracks though.)

I know a few other male Murakami fans - one became interested in his fictional works after first reading Underground. I think his works such as Sputnik Sweetheart and Norwegian Wood may be more appealing to female readers, but the others are probably fair game. Is WBC your favourite?
