This movie is basically the prequel of Megaman X. The first Megaman X immediately before the first Maverick Outbreak. This game series was my personal favorite of all times and I played all 8 games to completion and I grew up off of this series.
With that being said my only disappointment is the lack of a sequel and further coverage of the Megaman X timeline. There are dozens of un-answered about the crossover between the original Megaman and Megaman X. And even the Megaman Zero and Megaman.exe worlds.

This anime is a Chinese production and my first view of one as well so I am a fresh set of eyes on this type of production. To get a couple of the obvious things out of the way.
This is not an SAO clone! This is not a harem! So if your're expecting that kind of thing look elsewhere. With that being said. Guri GURI!!!! Ok now that that's out of my system it's time for the actual review. As you can pretty much tell from the little preface I made there. Guri is a top tier, waifu,. if you like cute, comical dere-dere types. She's goofy, cute, not overt about her feelings and all in all made the show awesome to watch. Now as for the rest of the actual show, I feel like the parodies here were a complete riot not of keijo proportions, but close. Let me preface this by saying this is my first review to bare with me as it may be clunky. Rokudenashi is kind of a tilta-whirl of an anime. The art is very cute but not overly cute, the characters are memorable for their own comical views and tropes and the story felt kind of all over the place for a bit.
The protagonist and his outlook on life come into play about midway through the anime and the ending ties quite a bit of speculation up nicely and puts a bow on it. Given how the ending was portrayed and I won't say more ... |
