My name is J. I've been watching anime since 2005 and have built up a small collection of Animes over the years. I was born in England and moved to Canada at the beginning of 2013 to be with my wife. I'm pretty relaxed and don't watch alot of normal television, which is why I tend to stick to Animes / Foreign movies mostly as I find that you tend to get better storylines and not so much pointless action with films that sell well just because they got some of the big names out there among the cast.
I don't accept blind friend invites so please feel free to message me or drop me a comment to get to know me first before you do! On the side I run a group for Star Trek - Online with my own website setup for it which I run with a friend and the only other online game I play is FFXIV. Any questions feel free to ask!
Anything an everything aside from Rap, Hip/Hop, Hardcore and alot of current pop music. I love anything from Heavy Metal, Classical, Rock to Japanese music. Metallica is the main group I listen to if I had to choose one.
I have a varied taste in movies. I do enjoy a comedy or action movie but I do prefer movies with more depth such as Sixth Sense, Inception and The Jacket etc. Recently though I have been getting into Asian Cinema with great movies such as Kung Fu Hustle, The Good The The Bad The Weird, Woochi The Demon Slayer, Thirst etc.
House, Fringe, Sanctuary, The Mentalist, Grimm - Anything like that really. Mostly Sci-Fi, Paranormal, Detective shows etc.
Stephen King Novels - Thats pretty much what I read!
Hey! It's going, just working more this week, which I am very happy about, but it does cut into the free time.
But how is it there? Are you enjoying being in a new country ? Of course you have been there, but now it is different. I don't see you on MAL or Skype much so I assume you have better things to do ^_^
Hey you! haven't heard from you in awhile so I just wanted to drop by and leave you a little message. I hope that you had a nice Christmas and that everything is well with you.
Could you join this club? we are having a small contest to see which team can invite the most players XD
(if you do decide to join, there's a forum named "team Yumeji" if you could just make a post saying "joined" that would be awesome!)
Oh wow I used to live one hour away from Toronto. Have fun visiting your wife. I'm sure she misses you dearly.
Yeah IT can be a bit of a pain. New things surface everyday and you constantly have to get up to speed with things, and sometimes tech doesn't make sense like you said.
It's cool you are studying IT. It must be such an interesting and broad. I've never done so well with computers so it would be great if I actually take a class.
When are you moving to Canada? You're going to Toronto, right?
Like Lady just said, sorry this is late my friend and both of us really love Monster as you can tell ^_^ so I hope you really like it as well when you get around to watching it.
Sorry I had to leave Skype yesterday, but I am sure you and the wife had loads to talk about since you will be there with her shortly! ~_^.
Hey nierion, I guess we are all busy these days. it's hard to make time for chat and other fun things. I hope to hear your thoughts on Monster.. It is such an exciting anime. What do you study btw?
Well i hope those family issues got sorted and that your hand is much better. You should go check that out if it still hurts.
I'll certainly have to watch LOTR then, I'd like to actually see a well-done movie adaptation for a change. xD Haha, yeah, might not necessarily be a bad thing if they did decide to include everything, even if the movie would have to be split into multiple parts or be made into a mini-series :p
