I was never turned off by the animation. Animation is not my concern if you read my reviews lol I never rate for art.

It just feels like a HUGE wall of episodes I would have to scale to catch up. I am already trying to start gintama lol which is a 200+ show lol That's the thing that's preventing me from starting it. It feels kinda intimidating lol

I might start watching it. but I'll watch one small arc like every once in a while when I get that mystery urge lol

I was thinking about trying Conan but it seemed like a HUGE wall of episodes I would have to scale for a episodic Anime. Does the series have character development as it goes along? or is it just like detective shows "crime happens, investigate the crime. uncover the murder" does it have a overarching plot? or long story arcs?

Dude i just finished Eureka 7, it is easily one of the best, well thought out, heartfelt, anime i ever watched, you definitely need to watch this anime when you get a chance.

well, at first its pure comedy, but the ending chapters are so sad. in general though, it should be taken as a comedy. i think you'll love it
