There is an old proverb that says : When your 5 years old, your a child prodigy. When your 15, you're wunderkind. And when you're 20, you're just and ordinary person. There are 2 years until I'm ordinary and I better do something now!
The good thing is that Free! portrays these without it being too dark or weighing too much on the memory. Only Nagisa's episode had a profound impact on me that caused me to have it on my mind for about a week or so, simply because it's something that I found very much applicable to my life. I tried so much to relate to SNK, and I don't know why I couldn't. I mean, I know many people are huge fans of it, and I'm not denying it's a pretty good anime, but for me somehow it doesn't really come up to that level of 'exceptional'.
I can send you links to the music I've found it you like! However, Splash Free takes a while to master because there's quite a bit of octave jumping and my hands aren't big enough to reach some of the intervals and such in it, so I had to substitute a few notes. Lol, cute? That's something I don't get much, usually I get "wow you write so much how do you have time for this do you just sit inside all day" [ I don't, I spend most of my time at classes and running hehe ], but thanks!

Ah, hehe, yea, that's my life, I guess. My parents are okay; since I didn't really get to hang out with my friends this summer, I guess my social life was a bit sad on that end, but my family and I went to all sorts of places so I think I feel closer to my family now ^^. Even though there isn't much left of summer, my parents have started to allow me to watch anime because I post my reviews on tumblr and I showed them how many followers I had, and my mom realized that there was something good coming out of it; she's also encouraged me to paint something for the house and to maybe get together with my friends before school starts. The situation is so much better now!
Sometimes I wonder where I'm getting these conclusions from xD I mean, I never had expected Free! to be so...well, I guess this would be something that many people would laugh to read, but I didn't expect it to be so...deep and targeted at emotions. The way that it examines friendships and our relationships with others is really something that I wouldn't have expected when I first started watching this anime [ I was looking for just a cheerful, light-hearted anime about a sport I enjoyed ]. In a way, I'm despairing because all these feels aren't things that I was searching for, but you know what, I'm glad that this anime actually has some messages in it. Otherwise it would be pretty shallow and completely fanservice.
Ah, it's because I play anime music on the piano and I was looking for some sheet music from Free! besides the usual "Splash Free" and "Rage On", and the first one I found was "I Need You". I think it's a really pretty song. When I figured out how to play it I also wanted to know where it was from, so after a bit of searching I found it, and I immediately recognized it when it played in the latest episode. I didn't think much of it in the first season, but where they specifically chose to play it again in the second season was really meaningful to me.

I think maybe I'm too into Free! >.> It's not my favourite anime but it's possibly the one that I'm most obsessed with/ follow the most, if that makes any sense? It's kind of like one of those anime that I wouldn't admit to anyone that I watch unless they ask first, hehe. Ah, you have tumblr too? I post my anime-episode-review things there too but I think people don't really care to read that much xD Though I agree with what you say! Haru is really so much more than people give him credit for, it's just because he doesn't say much that I think it's necessary to look more into the implications of his "neutral-sounding" comments and his actions. Though then I often feel like I'm reading too deeply into things and making up meanings that aren't there.

Awww thank you for reading my post I think nobody ever reads them because I write so much >.< It means a lot to me, and I'm glad it made sense! I'm always worried that people won't, if they even take the time to read my posts, relate to the ideas I have in there hehe
