"I promised to protect everyone"
Throughout the series, we will continuously hear this. However it seems to be more around the phrase "I promise to let everyone die." Take a second and think about all the action anime you have watched so far. I can instantly recall a few where NO ONE seems to die. This can make the anime seem mediocre and may turn some of its viewers away. Now take a look at Blood-C. For those of you who have already watched a few episodes, you will get what I mean. CLAMP makes it so that EVERYONE dies. Right when it seems some development will occur, someone DIES! CLAMP failed miserably on character and story development.
Story 2/10
Story development is just plain dreadful. The anime is almost finished airing, and there has been barely any development at all. Every episode has just been a random set of killings that barely makes any sense whatsoever. Even though I have finished up to episode 9, I feel as if I have been watching episode 1 over and over and over....
Along the way, we keep hearing some random guy talking. Even though I keep hearing him in every episode, I have not the slightest clue as to who he may be.
Art 7/10
Now let's take a second and forgot all the crap in the anime we just saw. Take a good look at the artwork and you'll see it's actually quite nicely drawn. However looking at 'Saya' here, it seems as if CLAMP is simply mocking all the Blood+ fans out there. Although the drawings are very neat, it seems 'Saya' has become nothing more than mediocre character. I have gotten sick of watching her and nothing about her matches the 'Saya' we once all knew. Other than that, good job with the artwork ^^.
Sound 6/10
"Sad Sad Anime with Sad Sad Music"
Character 2/10
Just about no character development throughout the whole series. Why? Everyone just dies when it seems like something is about to happen. Dense characters, with horrible development. This new 'Saya' is probably even worse than Orihime from Bleach. Enough said.
Enjoyment 3/10
Fight scenes and overall visual wise, Blood-C didn't do too bad. However I really don't think this compensates for the horrible development.
Overall 3/10
"Oh yay, a new blood series"
If you are starting this anime with that in mind, you better cancel this off your list now. This series is a disgrace to the original Blood+. If you still have doubt then go ahead and continue watching it. However just get ready to have your hopes for a good anime completely crushed.
Have a nice day : )

There have been many people that have claimed Myself ; Yourself is very similar to School Days. Because of that, I have been very hesitant to even start watching. Hell, I nearly dropped it on the first episode. But I would like to state that, that claim is false. There have been many twists to the plot of Myself ; Yourself, but it is nowhere along the lines of School Days.
The storyline of Myself ; Yourself sure packs a psychological punch, but not too much so that it leaves you bruised and uncomfortable. With the first few episodes as it is, I was truly surprised by the twists that came in from later episodes. However I think that this anime did not truly bring out the full potential of the story. With only 13 episodes, there are many aspects of Myself ; Yourself that are lacking. It could have easily made a 20+ episode anime.
No complaints from the artwork. All the characters were beautifully drawn and they all fit well with each of their personalities, unlike some other anime that tries to overexert an character with 'flashy' looks and a 'fail' personality.
Beautiful OP. Completely blends in with the anime. However ED in my opinion was not too great (I apologize to anyone that thinks the opposite, as stated in the beginning of this paragraph, just my opinion).
Character development is a 'so so'. I think there have been characters who have been almost completely neglected from the anime, such as Aoi. There are brief moments that explains the past for each character, but I think that the producers could have gone a lot more in-depth. However looking at it from an anime with only 13 episodes, it managed to cover quite a bit.
There are many things I would still like to know from the storyline and the ending was just a bit too sudden. However, overall I still think that Myself ; Yourself was quite enjoyable. Hope my review helped and Thanks for reading. read more

Have you ever found yourself to love an anime, but at the last episode it leaves you disappointed? It feels like a part of you is missing? Well Itazura na Kiss, with its two seasons fills up that missing part with a perfect finish.
Many of the romance related anime ends at the characters high school life and most of the time you won't get much more than that besides a few portrait pictures of what the main characters look like in the future. Well you won't have to worry about that when you are watching Itazura na Kiss. The story starts from high school all the way to their adulthood lives. I think this is truly what lacks in many other romance anime. They get you to the point where you feel like you can't stop watching and then suddenly end it with a 'happily ever after.'
You won't face that problem when watching this one! So basically one of this anime's strong points is their storyline whereas most other anime lack.
The music was another one of the strong points in Itazura na Kiss. Usually I skip the ops and eds after watching it 2-3 times but in this anime I sat back and went through the intros and end songs every episode!
The art was done decently enough, however there were some flaws. The characters sometimes had no consistency and sometimes they appear shorter or taller than they really are. Also in the beginning there are some really weirdly drawn characters, but I suggest you don't let that get to you. I almost dropped in the first episode but I'm really glad I did not or I would truly have regret in the future.
After watching both seasons of Itazura na Kiss, I can clearly see a lot of character development. The story does not only concentrate on the main couple, but also on their friends and enemies (who become friends in the future) as well.
Clearly I enjoyed this anime since I finished both seasons in just 1 day. This is definitely recommended to romance anime fans, I'm sure your in for a treat =]

If your that person that can't stand that pathetic weak main character or gets annoyed by bouncing breasts, I definitely suggest you cross this anime from your list right now. However besides that, Omamori Himari does live up to its harem and ecchi genre. Before I continue any further, just remember this is a review and not an synopsis. I have read many reviews that just gives out way too many spoilers yet a lot of people label it as helpful.
Story 7/10
The whole demon thing didn't capture me from the start. Truth be told, when I started watching episode one I didn't expect much and I almost dropped it. After finishing the series though, I told myself,"Hey! that wasn't half bad at all!" There are many ecchi harem anime that just gives an entire new meaning to 'crap', but this one was quite enjoyable.
Art 8/10
As with many other ecchi series, the art almost never pose to be a problem. With that said, you can surely enjoy the artwork of Omamori Himari.
Sound 7/10
The music was not outstanding but not bad either. Wasn't something that truly touched me or anything. However the music that plays during the climax of the story are pretty good.
Character 7/10
As with many others, almost all the cast of characters were female. But being a guy, hey I'm not complaining.
Enjoyment 8/10
If you are against ecchi harem anime, please do not flame it. Just keep it to yourself or maybe try reading the genres of each anime before you watch it. But if you are into those stuff, you could find this anime to be quite enjoyable.
Overall this anime deserves an 7/10. Unlike many other ecchi anime, the producers of Omamori Himari seemed to actually have put in effort to the storyline read more

Angel Beats was really popular before it even started airing but I didn't really think much of it. However after some recommendations by people, I decided to give it a go, and wow I only regret not watching this anime sooner. The first episode completely captivated me and I wanted more. However the downfall with Angel Beats! is their lack of character development and shortage episodes.
Story 10/10
The storyline for Angel Beats! is very enjoyable and I'm sure that a lot of you that have watched it will agree with me as well.
Art 10/10
Not once even close to having a headache watching the characters =].
Sound 10/10
The music is the strongest point for this anime. The ops and eds seemed to fit perfectly into this anime.
Character 7/10
Character development is the weakest point for Angel Beats!. They introduced so many characters yet, we only get an in-depth history for only a couple of characters.
Enjoyment 10/10
After watching the first episode, i was reluctant to even go for a toilet break haha.
Overall I think Angel Beats! deserves a 9/10. Other than the lack of episodes, this was one of the most enjoyable anime i have watched so far. read more

Triangle Blue having finished airing at around 2010, I decided to give it a try, hoping for a more high quality video. As expected the art was pretty good, but i seriously hated the storyline.
Story 2/10
I simply hated the storyline for Triangle Blue. It is utterly horrible and gave me a bad feeling after watching the end of the 2nd OVA.
Art 7/10
Art was fairly decent.
Sound 8/10
I liked the voice actors, they were well suited for their roles.
Character 3/10
Character development sucked to the extreme. Nothing really made much sense.
Enjoyment 3/10
Because of the bad feeling it gave me at the end, it resulted in me giving this such a low score.
Overall 4/10
Overall I don't really recommend Triangle Blue, but if you are curious about....well how someone might be made into a prostitute, you might as well try it out...

As a kid, shaman king was one of my first anime shows and favorites as well. This is the first anime that really got me into other anime. I remember when it was still airing, and I always looked foward to the next day when it will be on. It has a interesting storyline and I was really into the artwork.
Story 8/10
Back then, I was really into these supernatural kind of shows. Shaman king displays great fights and also entertains the audience with all the comedy added to it. Though the storyline was pretty obvious it was still enjoyable. I really want to talk more about the story, though I can't give any spoilers so I'll stop here.
Art 8/10
I really liked the artwork for shaman king. Taking into consideration the day it was aired, the art is simply fabulous. One of the much better artwork done during the time.
Sound 6/10
I don't really remember much about the songs used here, so I can only say 6 to be fair.
Character 8/10
There is a lot of character development throughout the show, so this another aspect of the anime that I liked.
Enjoyment 9/10
I really looked forward to watching every next episode, so it was quite enjoyable for me.
Overall 8/10
If you are into shounen and the supernatural, this is a must see :) read more

From my personal perspective this is one of the worst anime I have ever seen. I have read in many threads about the poor story of this anime, but i decided to give it a chance anyway. However it is something i deeply regret and wished I had never even watched it. I actually forced myself to finish this show, thinking they might make a big come back in the end, but wow was i wrong.
Story 3/10
Nothing to say here except horrible
Sound 5/10
Wasn't truly horrid but not much of my tastes either
Art 5/10
If your the kind of person that likes the big mushy eyes in an anime you may be comfortable with this anime, however i can't really stand them.
Character 5/10
Enjoyment 1/10
If you force yourself to watch something that's not a good sign is it?

Ok this is my first time writing an review for an anime so dont expect much.
For story i would give it an 7/10. The fact this story revolves around future technology and such makes this an quite interesting anime. But i think the overall plot of the story moves a bit too fast. When i started watching blassreiter I really had no idea who were the main characters of the story and I started to expect less from the this anime. But as the anime progressed much of the plot in the storyline is made clear.
The art deserves an 8/10 in my opinion. The characters are nicely drawn and they seem to have a life to them. Although not all the demoniacs are to my liking, i think they still look pretty awesome. Also their fights and battles are also nicely done, so I'd say expect something from this show if you are looking for good fights.
I'd give sound a 5/10. I wasn't exactly a big fan of the openings of blassreiter, but i think the ending songs are nice. Dont got much to say on this one.
Characters deserve a 9/10. Almost every character are given an unique personality that contributes to the overall story of this anime. Most of the past experiences each person had is thoroughly revealed as the show progresses and leaves almost no question answered. However there were some characters that would appear at the last few episodes and then die, even though they seemed to be someone important in the storyline. Other than that, characters is about the best aspect of this anime.
Enjoyment scores a 9/10. As the i continued to watch this anime, i just couldnt stop! If you are into mechas and such, i think this is a great anime for you. Although this story is only 24 episodes long, i can almost guarantee that you will surely enjoy it!
Overall for this anime would be 8/10. I recommend this anime to anyone who is interested in mechas or futuristic technology animes. Although the beginning of this show could be somewhat shaky, overall it has a great storyline. Hope this helps, thanks for reading read more
