The show starts out as a mostly tolerable, but uninspired isekai series about an average guy getting reborn in a fantasy world after being killed. You've seen this scenario at least 2 times nearly every single season in the past 5 years. If you are only interested in whether you should give it a chance, then no, just skip it. You won't lose anything. Otherwise please, continue.

attack a legendary hero raises him as his grand son and that along with his knowledge from his previous life should serve as the foundation of his unrivalled power. But it's still unearned. It's never shown that the wiseman's teachings really matter. The scientific knowledge he has... as an average salaryman... seems to give him everything he needs to become the strongest wizard in the known (other)world, being able to open wormholes and manipulate gravity with the knowledge probably nothing deeper than a couple of National Geographic Channel documentaries or if he was nerdy enough a couple of "quantum physics for dummies" books by Hawking, but that have never been shown. Meaning, right from the start he has next to no room to grow.
As for his personality, a one dimensional goody two shoes. It's unclear how much of his memories did he keep from his previous life. It seems like as much as it's convenient for the plot. His unexplained aptness in all the fields of science he needs for showing off his next feat, but definitely not his social skilles including and especially his experience with the opposite sex... which he probably should have had sicne he was an adult when he died, but that still is unspecified.
And I can't say anything better about the rest of the cast either. All of them are empty husks of overused clichés. They are only there to be impressed by our self insert hero. The two main side kick is the mischievous prince of hero's country who's so close to him as if he was family and it's shown early that he is engaged so he don't pose any threat to hero. And hero's love interest, big boobed, blue haired waifu girl, who's just nice and shy.
If it's that bad, than why did I say mostly tolerable?
Well, the visuals are easy on the eyes, despite taking place in a magic high school the actual high school life is mostly neglected and at least it's offensive. It's just a harmless cash grab riding the waves of the isekai trend. I see there was just enough effort put into it that it won't kill more of your brain cells than getting wasted at a saturday night and you don't feel like having terminal liver cancer the next day.
At this point I was planning to close my review when I just noticed, I barely wrote anything about the story. And to be fair there is nothing much to. Overpowered badass is being badass wherever he goes, gets close to the girl, hey actually end up together half way into the series which is cut short in the most underwhelming way possible, probably to drive the audience to the literature it originates from. Or set up a sequel. But with the quality of the show it really doesn't deserve either. There is a sub plot about people turning into demons, but it didn't get enough focus and I was as interested in it as the main villain after he reaches his initial goal.

There are some people who thinks anime can be good in only one way. If it's deep and thought provoking, whatever that means to them. These people tend to underrate everything light hearted and despise fan-service shows. Well this is hell for these snobs and elitists.
Because what Keijo!!!!!!!! actually is? It is a fan-service show, but that's just a cover. It's a satire of the shounen sports genre. show can easily go awkward from where the comedy doesn't work. There are a lot of shows like that. Keijo is not one of them, it manages to be consistently hilarious. The fan-service is incorporated into the plot so well that it's always feels natural.
As for the story goes, it's basically a regular underdog tale. A bunch of freshmen starts attending this butt wrestling school, because everything has a dedicated high school in Japan. Our heroines start to sharpening their skills through a lot of mock matches and ridiculous training sessions, while every one of them discovers a special move. As for characters, we get the heroes of these kinds of stories, but even further exaggerated, with the same goal, they want to be professionals. And in context of the series, they are working splendidly.
For the production quality, I have no complaints. There are some moments where they didn't get the CG right and the characters go off model, but over all, as far as design and technical quality goes, it's definitely strong in this season, and considering how flashy the matches are, it's amazing how they kept up the quality without inserting too much cheap budget saving scenes, like another sports series of this season did.
In conclusion, this anime is not for everyone. This show is dumb, but it meant to be dumb, it wants to be dumb and it's proud of it. The ones who will appreciate it the most are the ones who're somewhat deep into the medium and seen some series this makes fun of and seen the biggest hits of the past few years, because Keijo is really heavy in references. It's an easy on the mind show with high entertainment value. I recommend it to everyone who has an open mind.

This show is liked by many. It's labelled as one of the best tear jerker romantic stories, and it's good, but never understood the cult around them. There will be possible major spoilers, but if you didn't see them coming this is probably the first show of this kind you'll come through.
So, the story is built on Kousei, a young pianist, who lost his mother and his ability to play with her, and his relationship with Kaori a violinist who tries to help him through his hardships. Now, it turns out around the 6-8th episode, that Kaori is sick. Now this already sets up the

ending. You can be sure thet she will die and there is no hope for her. Why? Because this is that kind of story. The main question is, will it be a devastating tragedy to Kousei or will he accept her death and the gratitude overshines the pain. Well, obviously it will be the second one, because this is that kind of story. No surprises here, you have more than enough time to prepare yourself. But it still could hit you, if they execute it right. Here comes my other main issue, the goofy humor. Humor is necessary in these kind of shows to ease the tension. But if they overdo it, it ruins the mood. They did just that. And for a romantic story, the romance remains underdeveloped. It stays the way that some characters are attracted to each other but their affection kept platonic.
My third main issue are the characters. Tsubaki is good and Kousei is okay, but Kaori stays distant for the entire series. She is just there to guide Kousei through his problems, but never really understand her motivations and goals. We can guess she knows she wil die and want to leave her mark in the world, that's why she is so rebellious when it comes to her music and that's why she wants to fix Kousei. But it never comes clear. She feels like she is above the story, like a reincarnated mother to Kousei who's only purpose to correct what she messed up her previous life and then disappear. And she does exactly that. And her other half in the love rectangle, Watari feels completely insignificant. He is just there to keep Kaori and Kousei apart and nothing else. That's pretty much applies to all the side characters (except for Tsubaki). Everyone is there to be in service to Kousei in his healing from his mental trauma.
The design looks good. It's different than the generic A-1 Pictures style. The problem with it the animation, especially at the piano scenes. All I could think while watching that how much better would that be if it's made by Madhouse for example. They really know how to make scenes epic and how to pass intensive emotions through it. The way it is, those scenes felt a bit numb.
Overall however it's far from bad, I couldn't get invested into the story and characters deep enough to hit me where it should have.

Well, this is a different approach of the 3 episodes rule. If you watched the first 3 episodes, whether you liked it or not, you've seen everything the show can offer.
There is no story, no characters, just Sakamoto swagging around, overcomes his opponents effortlessly. It becomes repetitive and boring real quick. There are some minor plot twists in every one or two episodes, when you along the rest of the cast thinks Sakamoto doing something extraordinary, but it turns out, it's just a regular thing, like making noise or hail a taxi. It's creative and funny, at least the first 2 or 3 times, but

not enough. The sound and music are decent, fits to the series, but that's all. There is literally nothing to talk about this series because it's completely blank.
At the end the biggest flaw of the series is that how flawless the main character is. There is no excitement, no tension and the blunt jokes couldn't keep up my attention. It's bad show and a boring which is one a mistake a comedy series can not afford to make.

The show of it's season that everybody likes despite it's pretty bad. We have a group of teens who gets into a world based on RPG ruleset and shortly after this, they forget their previous life... and that's all. We won't get to know who they are, why did they get there, what is that place anyways, why does it operates like a video game, what should they do there. They just live their everyday life, learning some new skills, killing the low level creatures for the loot which they use to cover their living expenses and equipment.

lose a teammate, hire a new one who lost her team and slowly move on after their loss, but this doesn't start a real character improvement. It's trying, but doesn't goes anywhere. During their fights, because of this is a team, we might expect it'll be shown from a strategic point of view. They build up the tactics of their ambushes, comment how the teammates use their class' special skills to effectively operate as a team, but no. They just show their newly learnt skills without any deeper concept. We could think that after these they focus on giving the world some depth, who are these goblins and kobolds, are there any relation between them, what kind of society do they live in, why must they fight with them, why are they hostile by nature, by the way what kind of society do humanity live in this world. But no, we wont get to know anything about these either. The main issue with this show is NOT the slow pacing. The slow pacing can not be an excuse for the lack of world building and plot improvement. At the end there were some improvement in the representation of characters and the fight choreography, then, SLIGHT SPOILER, it ended with a terrible plot armor execution, END SPOILER.
The art design is correct. The character design follows the typical A1 Pictures design. One of the main characters looks exactly like a brown haired Kirito. Not quite unique. The environment and backgrounds are a bit better. With this sketchy looking, hand drawn like appearance it's easily distinguishable from the other series of the studio. It's a matter of taste if you like it or not, I found it a bit self-serving, but a creative way to work with low budget, the main issue isn't this. The animation seems really cheap. The fight scenes are dull, there isn't any tension in them at all. It's nowhere near UBW or even SAO. Oh, and SAO, do you all remember the fight against the first boss with Asuna and Kirito? It was a good fight, they were working together, they looked like a team. I'm not an SAO fan, but that scene was alright in concept and visuality. Don't expect anything even remotely like that from Grimgar.
To summarize, when I've seen the first promotional image, I knew I have to have low expectations. And thus fortunately or more like sadly I couldn't get disappointed. Not even pleasantly though. It sticks out downwards from average quality. Maybe the light novel was decent, I didn't read it, but there never were a moment when I felt the anime could be any better than a mediocre fantasy shounen. You won't lose anything if you skip it.

Okay, this is an anime I couldn't bear to watch more than 5 episodes. I could suffer it through, but there are so much better stuff so why waste my time? Hey, but this means there won't be any major spoilers! Let's cut to the point.
So, we have a not generic looking light novel guy. Small, fat, not a typical handsome one. This could be a pro, this could've meant this broke out of the teen light novel cliché, BUT! The protagonist we have is a pathetic piece of garbage. Most other characters ignores or bullies him. He has no dignity, self respect, confidence. Even

his VR avatar is a piglet. There is not a single thing likable or relatable in him. He has no qualities we could point out and say, yes, he is at least a good guy and gets bullied solely because his appearance. He don't even try to break out of this position or make himself better. All he do is whining. A lot. Almost constantly.
The other characters: He has only two childhood friend. A cute girl and her boyfriend. And later it turns out, the girl is attracted to him... for plot reasons and the guy hates him, because the girl likes him. Well, at least this is understandable. And the school's alpha bitch, who once approaches and fall in love with him, because he is... good at video games, and vice versa our hero, because she doesn't deal with him like the pest he is.
The art style in one sentence: A1 Pictures at its finest.
The exact same characters and backgrounds like in almost every series of this company. Appealing at first sight, but don't give it a closer look.
At this point this point, I couldn't continue watching. This anime went full retard.
