Shugo Chara! (Anime) add
I can thank my loving and awesome boyfriend for getting me into this wonderful series.

Shugo Chara! is an absolutely charming series that breaks several molds of the Maho Shoujo genre and really stands out of the crowd.

The story is adorable, charming, and honestly inspiring. It speaks to everyone who wishes they could change themselves or act as they want to, but fear the social consequences. Shugo Chara's premise and mechanics involving the eggs and shugo chara is very interesting and unique from other anime of the same genre.

Each character has their own unique background and personality traits, having a cast that has someone ANYONE can ...

Brilliant. Absolutely -BRILLIANT-.

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood is meant to be a more faithful re-telling of the Fullmetal Alchemist manga, where the original anime deviated greatly from the original material's story. I must say, they hit the mark spot on. The greater amount of humor that existed in the manga is here, but also the darker story elements are also there, creating a huge contrast from the original anime.

The art is amazing, using the colors and tones from the manga adds a nice visual difference that sets it apart from the original series.

All the same characters are back, and I am especially happy that they used the ...

Lucky☆Star (Anime) add
Lucky*Star is one of the most interesting anime out there, if one of the hardest to understand by outsiders.

Again, much like Azumanga Daioh, the execution of a normally dull slice of life storyline is great and has a lot of charm and humor. One of the things that made me love Lucky Star so much was the conversations the characters had. They were completely normal conversations that I find myself discussing almost exactly the same subjects with my otaku friends.

The characters are full of personality, especially our anime addicted heroine with the blue hair, Konata Izumi. Arguably one of the most interesting anime girls out ...

Azumanga Daioh! is the anime that got me into the Slice of Life genre of anime, and it's endeared itself to me in ways that are hard to imagine.

The concept of the story may seem rather simplistic and boring, but the execution of it is in such an over the top and hilarious way that you can't help but fall in love with this series.

All the characters are humorous and adorable in their own way. Each one has their own personality and quarks, and none will appear to be some cookie cut out anime girl stereotype. Not only are the girls hilarious, but the ...

Preliminary (12/26 eps)
Pani Poni Dash is a hilarious anime which has all the randomness of great anime such as Azumanga Daioh! but with even less of an over-arching storyline. After the first episode of introduction, every episode is an exercise in the random and completely insane, but that's not a bad thing for this anime.

Overall I enjoy the series so far, the only reason I haven't finished is that it's hard for me to locate episodes.

My only turn off is that the randomness can get to be a bit too much, but thats purely a personal quarrel.

Every character's eccentricities, from Himeko's crazy cowlick and catchphrase ...
