This anime is one of my favorites by far, and I know that anyone who watches this will have some sort of place for it in their hearts.
Story - (9/10)
The story was simply amazing. Shikimori Kazuki, a 17-year-old boy, attends a school for elite magicians. However, due to his physique, test scores, and various other things, girls walk right on past him.
However, out of the blue, he is "attacked" by three beautiful girls: Kuriko, Rin, and Yuuna.
But, they're really only after one thing: his genes (you heard it guys, they wanna *bleep* him =O ).
Aside from making the whole male population at the school jealous
...
and angry, Kazuki has to somehow live his normal life without using magic!
If that's so, why do they want his genes?
In the anime, everyone has a certain number of times they can use magic before POOF, they turn into dust!
The numbers are usually in the thousands, tens of thousands, etc.
How many times can Kazuki use magic? 8.
Then... why are those three girls so determined to make a baby with Kazuki? It's because of his lineage. He derives from great and ancient magicians.
While HE may not be super-powerful (...which he is *cough/spoiler*), his child certainly will be, and with high-ranking, industrial families having at it, who DOESN'T want a super-strong heir?
The only reason I docked the story by 1 point was the simple fact that there were a few fillers and a story that was a little drawn-out...
Art - (8/10)
While the art was like that of any other anime, it has a personal touch that I found quite amusing and played pretty-pretty colors with my eyes (no... seriously, near the end... the colors... *drools*).
Sound - (7/10)
The sound was... *sigh* let's face it, like every other anime in terms of the amount of originality (...wait for it... wait for it!~...), which means it didn't have anything NEW, but it didn't fail in terms of the quality in which it was displayed.
Character - (9/10)
The characters were great, I loved Kazuki throughout the entire anime, and there were a few others I was fond of, as well.
But, like any romance anime, the 3 types of girls were almost boring and way too typical: busty ego girl, determined childhood lover/promise made girl, and arrogant and too-tough-to-admit-to-love girl.
The only thing that saved the character development of those three was Kazuki and how he responded to each of them (yes, that means differently than in most animes).
Enjoyment - (10/10)
This series was actually quite a tear-jerker near the middle and end. I fell in love with the anime the moment that the series took a twist towards the... "disappearance" of one character (wonder who? watch the anime!).
Overall, I had to give this anime a 9/10, and if you don't watch it - to put it simply - you're missing out.

This anime, in my opinion, was simply amazing, and I loved watching every minute of it. Sure it's just about the same as every other romantic comedy out there, but the mechanics that brought it all together were entirely different and set the anime apart for me, at least.
Story - (9/10)
The story revolves around a young, short, unfortunate boy named Yukinari, whom has been unpopular with girls ever since the beginning of his high school years. Yukinari suffers from a condition that makes him break out in hives whenever he touches someone of the opposite sex. This, on top of being bullied by just about
...
every girl he knows, creates a thick air of depression, which kick-starts the anime and eventually makes it tumble into a plot and character development. It doesn't help that the poor boy is also named "Chibinari" (chibi means "small", or "little") due to his height.
While accidentally peeping in on his childhood friend after she takes a shower, he is pummeled into his bathtub, which transports him to a planet that is connected to Earth through a bridge that exists in water (y'know, they never DID clarify how that system works, or even gave it a name), Seren.
On Seren, less than 10% of the population is male, and so Yukinari is chased almost immediately after meeting his friend Miharu, whom, wouldn't you know it, doesn't give him hives!
After a great chase scene, Yukinari winds up in a bathroom with Miharu, only to transport, with her, back into his own bathub.
Art - (8/10)
The artwork was pretty amazing, although at times it had its downpoints. The realism sets this anime apart, but it keeps a somewhat childish, chibi-like substance to it that I came to appreciate while watching the series.
Sound - (10/10)
I really couldn't complain about the sounds/bgm or their quality. It was one of those "eh, I'll put a 10 here because I can't really say anything about it". The voice acting was superb I must mention, though.
Character - (10/10)
What I loved especially about this series was the difference in characters. While the emphasis wasn't necessarily anybody but Yukinari growing, it had every sort of character you could think of. The snobby perv, the hidden affectionate, yet outrageously noisy girl, the clueless gem, the scared and yet brave soul, etc. etc.
It was like opening a pulp-fiction book and extracting characters and inserting them in a way where they all clicked, in an almost scary kind of way (I was in love with the lesbian bodyguard, myself =3).
Enjoyment - (9/10)
The anime kept my attention and it never lost track of its plot and kept my interested in each episode following after (although I couldn't help but think they could have given the white-gloved perv Fujiyama more air-time =( ).
Overall, I gave this anime a 9/10 and suggest that everyone and their brother watch it.

At it's base the anime had little plot to begin with, and doesn't really improve at all.
I realize that it was meant to be random, but the whole premise of the anime seemed to throw me off far beyond the norm.
Story - (1/10)
There wasn't any, simply put. They tried to excuse this by creating a story that fell along the lines of:
The protagonist is targeted by an angel, Dokuro-chan, that wants to kill him because in the future he will create an immortality potion that makes all women grow only large enough to look like 12-year-old girls. A.K.A. they [the Angel Agency] wants to kill
...
him for being a lolicon.
Art - (5/10)
The art was entertaining at times, but most of the episodes are just plain disturbing, and I don't know about you, but after about 3 episodes of constant bloodshed and monkey-humping, I'm about ready to jump off a bus.
Sound - (7/10)
For some reason I found the sound very appealing and very funny (even though I don't want to SEE the bloodshed, I found it interesting how they made it sound).
Character - (10/10)
The only character I found enjoyable was the protagonist, Sakura. I simply loved that fact that everything around him is quickly spinning into "nonsense" land and he tries so desperately to cling onto some amount of sanity (with no success, of course).
Enjoyment - (10/10)
While I didn't enjoy the art, the story, or sounds, I did thoroughly enjoy the comedy and bits of randomness that DID make sense (even though that, in itself, doesn't make sense).
Overall, I'd have to rate this a 3/10. It's something I'd suggest if you were REALLY bored.

The anime begins with the (semi)-main protagonist, Louis Francois, a young magician girl, attending class.
3 minutes into the first episode and several explosions later, we learn that her name "Louis the Zero" derives from her success rate at magic: zero.
Zero no Tsukaima can be translated several different ways, but the most common in English is "The Zero's Familiar".
After this nice explosive intro, Louis must perform a summoning ritual. It is a sacred ceremony that allows a Noble (magic-users) to summon a beast to become their familiar (with those that aren't familiar with the term... well... familiar, it means something like that of a "pet" or
...
"servant", generally an animal of some sort).
Everyone around Louis summons amazing familiars, everything from dragons to moles.
While giving her turn a try, she summons our second protagonist: a boy.
Saito, our typical Japanese boy, winds up stuck with Louis, and through the anime becomes known as the "Gandalfr"; a being that can use any weapon made for war without any prior knowledge of that weapon through the runes on his hand.
The love between Louis and Saito is constantly threatened throughout the series and extends far into the 2nd and 3rd seasons (Fukatsuki no Kishi / Princess no Rondo).
The story, in my opinion, is overplayed in many anime's. There've always been wars, and, for some really, really annoying reason, it plays NO part in the anime whatsoever until the very end. The artwork is astounding (although not as good as the manga's). The sound is great, original, and flows with the anime. The characters are typical, but enjoyable.
The series was very much enjoyable.
I gave this series a 9/10.

The anime's premise starts with a poor boy, Keiichi, who can't get any luck on his side, no matter how many things he tries to do right (can't we all relate?).
However, his unheard plea for help is finally answered when the Goddess Help Agency (forget exact name) calls him and says they'll send someone right over.
Little did he know that she'd appear through a mirror.
Through a crazy turn of events, he asks his new Goddess, Belldandy, to stay by his side forever.
The magic is sown and throughout the series more Goddesses come to live with him and cause his life to become a living romance
...
comedy.
The series is very good. The story is original, the artwork is very nice (though sketchy in some areas), the sound is alright, I suppose, and the characters are, in fact, top-knotch and not static.
It was very enjoyable through and through.
I give this series an 8/10.
