Hey MalMercs, thanks for writing into the show! As you know I pulled Togashi and went on a *chuckles* “little” hiatus. Currently I’m setting up the new Office, and will get back to creating quality content for you and the rest of the 619ers to the 805ers. I don’t want to spoil my next review but I’ve been working on this video for a little over a year now. Some might call it one of the best animated films that I personally got to see back at Anime Expo of 2016. Once again I’ll like to thank you for your patience and for sticking with ur Tribal Chief. Hey, man just writing in again to mention how huge your videos have been in my day to day life. Without your videos every week i just don't know how i'd make it through the week, ya know. Every Monday i wake up with the full expectation of having my life changed in a new and breathtaking way on your channel on you tube dot com and every Monday you deliver man, without fail. I just have to say that your videos are why i get up in the morning and without that I'd probably be in a ditch somewhere in the kingdom of kei. Nice! I've got a few more years before I graduate hahaha. Like 2 or 3. See, I kind of switched around majors this year a few times because I thought I knew what I wanted, but really didn't I guess. I thought I wanted to do something with computers, but I like working with people too much to sit behind a screen all day, so I switched to a business major. And I want to work for a social media company some day, so I figured that marketing would be the best way to go about that.

But yeah I know! I still need to watch that one too. I think I started watching that a few years ago, but stopped because I didn't really get it. But to be fair, I was only like 15 sooooo. I'll probably like it more now. And I did try watching Narcos, but it's really not something I'm super into right now either. Kind of something you have to be in the mood to watch. My Dad watches Black Sails, and so do a few of my friends, but I haven't watched it. Pirates aren't my thing. I kind of like more everyday drama shows. I just started watching that Amazon Prime show Transparent and so far I really like it! Well, from what I've seen so far hahaha, i accidentally started season 3 instead of 1..whoops.

I've been getting more into hiking lately too. I met a friend at the Laurentian Divide up by me and it was really neat. We didn't stick around too long, but I'll have to go back there. Is this place super high up or something? It sounds like a lot of fun! I just started to I guess pay attention to music more this year because I've met a lot of people who were super intense about it. And I also worked a little with the campus radio station and started to like it a lot. I actually applied for a full time position there for next semester, it'll be pretty dope. Speaking of, what kind of music are you into? But you should totally check out some festivals! Film festivals are a lot of fun and you guys have a pretty big one I think, I'd love to go.

Ooh that sounds interesting. Are you graduating soon then? I like programming...in theory. Like I thought that it would be really cool to learn, so I came into school as a Computer Science major and found out this semester that it fucking sucks. Or rather it's just not for me. But I do get that it's super satisfying, because once I can get something to actually work (I've struggled a lot with it), it's the greatest feeling ever. I switched my major to Marketing though, so I'll start on that next year. But that show sounds interesting, I might have to check it out. I haven't really found anything that I can really get into lately, I've been thinking about starting Narcos on netflix.

I was only in San Antonio for like a day or so when I went, but the river walk was pretty cool. What kinds of outdoorsie stuff though? Hahaha but I feel, before coming to Iowa, I wasn't super into anything outdoorsie ironically since I grew up in Minnesota haha, but there's always been stuff going on on campus here, so I've been getting more into it. But yeah I got pretty lucky with my dorm haha. I accidentally picked the smallest one here, so everyone is pretty close within my house. I'd say that it makes up for me not having a roommate. But I am planning on going to at least one film festival up by me in Minnesota, and then I have an indie music fest called 80/35 that I'm planning on going to in Des Moines in July. I'm super hype for it.

Ooh that sounds fun. Coding like programming and stuff? I'm taking a programming class right now and I'm so bad at it Doesn't really help that my professor is an idiot. He drives me insane. Hahaha right! I kept telling myself that the sooner I finished it, the sooner I could get on with my life. Have you been watching anything recently? I'm trying to work my way through 13 Reasons Why at the moment. Started suuuuuper slow, but I'm getting into it now.

But dude I love Texas. I think I want to live in Austin some day. I had a lot of fun there when I went last. As for cool things, not especially. I just took a drive a couple weeks ago with some friends from my dorm to like bum fuck Iowa (not kidding, I had no idea where I was driving to) and we found a camp ground and had a fire. And afterward we went to this really cool bridge that was more in the middle of no where and super sketchy. But it was sweet! It was all lit up and it looked like a fair ground kind of. It's really random though, you have to walk about a mile in pitch black woods to get there. And I'm starting to buy tickets for some festivals this summer that I wanna go to.

Oh that's awesome! Are you going for anything specific? But yeah dude I feel. Although I had a week where I binge watched all seven seasons of the show Shameless on netflix. Hahaha not one of my prouder moments. Have you done anything fun/cool since the last time we talked? (Also, I'm sorry it's been so long!)
