These shows have in common: - Similar characters/ character types and personalities - Super power theme - The main character is hiding a secret and making everyone wonder - In both, characters are students in a "special" school and have to work as a team. Differences in these series: - Boku no Hero academia revolves around weak main guy, who aims to become stronger and be the hero who can bring smiles and protect. In Ao no Exorcist the main character is already strong, trying to get accepted by others and befriend with them and his ultimate goal is to defeat Satan. - Boku no Hero academia is more straightforward while Ao no Exorcist has alot more complex drama and situations.

Shounen Maid

These slice of life series resemble each other surprisingly much. While the plots and settings are different, the main characters are definitely carved from the same tree. Even though other one is a young boy and other a high school girl, they have the same ethics and attitude towards working and getting things done. They have similar looks and personalities and they both obviously wear a maid outfit - much to their own discomfort. They both have that one person next to them (in Kaichou it is Usui and in Shounen Maid it's uncle Madoka) that constantly teases but also cares very much about them. Both shows give of a very nice and comfortable feeling and are very cute, sweet and warm. The biggest difference between the shows would be the love genre that Kaichou has. Kaichou moves forward with the romantic moments between Usui and Misaki. Shounen Maid on the other hand has more of a parental type of love in it.

Dance with Devils

Very similar reverse harem's even though the story and setting are different. Dance with Devils is as the name suggests a musical story about a girl being surrounded by demons, vampires and mysteries. Brothers Conflict is about a girl who moves in with her new brothers, when her father remarries the mother of these boys. The girl in both shows is very much loved and approached by many guys.

Episodes are simple but heart-warming. Both shows are probably directed for children but are nice to watch even if you are older. Simple themes like friendship and love are mixed with darker tones like betrayal, mistakes that have large consequences, hurting others and getting hurt. Every episode teaches or reminds us of something important in life. Overall very different shows give off very similar vibe and are both enjoyable to watch.

Rokka no Yuusha
add

These two shows have many differences, but the overall feeling a viewer can get from them is similar. They both have this enigmatic atmosphere that wraps around the viewers. They are about mystery and solving that mystery. In Rokka no Yuusha the mystery involves all of the main characters who work together to solve it. Gosick on the other hand has many mystery cases that are mainly solved by one person. Romance is included in both of them. Nevertheless the mystery as a theme is displayed strongly in both of them and that is what makes them similar.

Hanayamata

Although these series differ from each other in some aspects, they also have similarities: - Both have a group of 5 girls, who decide to form a club for something they consider very important (in Hana it's a yosakoi dance club and in Love Lab it's a club for love problems etc). - In both friendship is a very important part of the show. - In both sad things happen, there is drama and the girls open up to each other. - In both series some of the girls feel like they are lacking something. - Both have extra beautiful animation, colors and art. - Both are shows loaded with cuteness, sweetness and adorable moments. Both make you relax and smile and feel good. Differences: - Love Lab has a lot more comedy, but it is very tasteful, unique, actually funny and not over the top. - Love Lab has some boys involved in the story, while Hanayamata is solely concentrated on the 5 girls and their teacher. - Hanayamata has more of those slow, "breath taking" moments, where the characters just enjoy one beautiful scene while awestruck.

Ikoku Meiro no Croisée The Animation
add

- Romeo no Aoi sora takes place in 19th century Milan, Italy. - Ikoku Meiro no Croisee takes place in 19th century Paris, France. So they have similar settings where everything happens. - In both of these series the protagonist is a young child that for some reason has to leave their home city to arrive at famous but for themselves previously unknown, huge city. They start getting to know the new city, while exciting events start to take action. - Both of the series take great focus on the little, simple but joyous things in life. These anime clearly want to highlight that the simplest things can often be the most beautiful things and that something very small can bring such huge amounts of joy to someone. Differences: - RNAO has more action and excitement, while IMNC has more of a calm, relaxing and soothing rhythm. - RNAO concentrates on deep friendship and loyalty and morals, while IMNC concentrates more to the concept of a young man taking care of a little girl and to the girl experiencing new things. - RNAO has more characters, while IMNC only has about one handful of them. Both are extremely beautiful and sweet shows, so if you like one, you very potentially might like the other.

Otome Youkai Zakuro

- These shows both have settings were youkai and humans live side by side, and separately at the same time. - The art in both is similar and I personally consider it beautiful. - They both have interesting stories even though I think that Otome Youkai Zakuro has little bit more depth in its story than Natsume Yuujinchou has. While Natsume's story develops slower and it introduces many different stories of different youkai and characthers, Otome is more concentrated on Zakuro's and other half-spirit's stories. - In both series the characthers understand at one point that there are also gentle and good youkai among the evil ones. - Both very good series indeed. I highly recommend both! :)
