Kawaikereba Hentai demo Suki ni Natte Kuremasu ka? is a really fun manga. A friend recommended it to me after reading a few panels, and what hooked me into it is how the story doesn't take itself too seriously.
Story: 7/10
Like I said, the manga doesn't take itself too seriously.
Art: 10/10
Everyone is well drawn here, including the girls. The art style is really appealing especially all the ecchi scenes.
Characters: 7/10
Please note, if you haven't gotten the hint from the title. Every girl that's the potential: "Cinderella" is a pervert in their own way.

Manga is great, jokes are well timed, comedy isn't lacking and the amount of surprises this manga has makes it a 10/10 read for me.

After going through my backlogs of manga, I've stumbled back to this title ever since putting it off for quite some time now. It ended up completed, so might as well finish reading it.
And I didn't regret doing so.
Here's my review:
Story: 8
At first the plot seems very generic: boy is with girl, gathers confidence to confess, ends up rejected, but in a matter of time might win girl's heart over at the end. It's generic at first, but after that the plot becomes more real and grounded.

character is really realistic and grounded.
It may be a story about getting together with a mom, but for me it's a journey of person who used the mistakes he made at first as learning experiences in order to grow into a more respectable and mature person.
Art: 7
Really solid art, gives off a distinct charm to the manga itself. Scenes are nice, expressions are portrayed really well. It gets the job done.
Character: 10
The character development of everyone involved is amazing. The MC finally grows a pair and becomes a chad throughout the manga. Realizing his mistakes, learning from them and becoming a different person from what we saw in chapter one. All in all, I like him as an MC.
The mom in question is really cute, her development in the manga is noticeable and you would end up rooting for her as she continues pursuing her goals.
I also like that they added kids in the story to serve as bridges to the gap the MC and the mom has. They serve good roles in making the two lovebirds realize feelings for each other and are awesome wingmen throughout the story.
Enjoyment: 10
I loved the manga as a whole, it's a realistic way of portraying how someone improves themselves after going though a mistake in their life. Using that mistake as a way of learning and developing their character.
Overall: 8
Great manga, really underrated, would recommend to everyone wanting a good romcom.

Here's my take:
Pokémon Journeys is an interesting anime, we still have Ash and Pikachu on their quest to become the very best like no one ever was. Ash has entered a lot of Pokémon Leagues, battled strong trainers, faced legendries, and cheated death like it's another day in the office. But during his journey, ever wondered what happens if the writers weren't actually biased against Ash?
Yep, Ash gets buffed. A LOT.
Here we take the review piece-by-piece:
Story: 9/10

to complete the Pokédex. Ash and his companion Goh fills the wants of each Pokémon fan. Ash's plot focuses on his (ongoing) journey to become the strongest trainer. Capturing all the powerful Pokémon the fans wanted him to catch. (Yes this isn't the same as in Unova where Ash's team is absolute garbage). Think of Ash's story arc to have the same feels of his time in the Sinnoh and Kalos regions. Goh's story on the other hand fills the niche of completing the Pokédex, a goal different from the usual companions Ash had. That it pretty much the story itself, Ash wants to battle while Goh wants to catch every single Pokémon, even legendries. Oh and after Sun and Moon, gyms aren't a thing now, but it's compensated for this huge tournament where every trainer (yes, EVERY trainer) is competing. So expect a few familiar faces to pop-up in and out of the story.
Art: 8/10
The art somewhat resembles the Alola anime, where it complements the goofy nature Ash's journey has. This isn't the same as X and Y where the tone of the art gives off a serious vibe. Aside from that, the Pokémon more or less looks amazing, the visuals of the Pokémon resemble their in-game art and the animation for their attacks looks real stunning. Not as beautiful as animated Pokémon shorts or any Pokémon film, but still, the art is amazing.
Sound: 8/10
The soundtrack is really nice given that you can hear some Generation 8 music remixed into the anime's soundtrack. The music itself helps give the scenes that special "magic" that gives you goosebumps each time you hear it.
Character: 8/10
Ash is pretty much Ash, there's nothing else to expect from him to be honest. If you already grew up with him throughout the years, you can see what kind of character he is. In the anime, Ash has pretty much grown, he is still a goofball from time to time, but his resolve to become the very best and desire to battle is still there. It's like seeing XY Ash but with the antics from the Sun and Moon Ash. For his companion, Goh is somewhat decent character. Despite his obsession of catching all the Pokémon and Mew. Goh for me is the anime equivalent of us when we were young, big fans of Pokémon. He may come off annoying, but his character improves overtime. Often learning from Ash that perhaps there's more to Pokémon than completing the Pokédex, and the episodes that focus around him do it so. Goh learns to battle, put trust into his Pokémon and etc.
Enjoyment: 10/10
The enjoyment is 10. Given that this anime is basically fan-service for Pokémon fans. You'll get to see some familiar faces return to the series, and you'll definitely enjoy the moment they appear in the show. Plus ASH GETS BUFFED. No longer will he be done dirty by the writers. They went all out for Ash and when you get deeper in the series, you'll see why. Also the filler episodes were fun as well.
Overall:
If you watched X and Y before and want the same kind of energy Ash has, this anime is for you. Everything in the series appears in this anime, from all the gimmicks to the characters. This anime is basically eye-candy and like what I've said, fan service for older Pokémon fans.

This review will try it's best to be spoiler-free.
To anyone curious about this film, it's more or less a "soft-reboot" of the original Pokémon anime. Catered towards a younger generation, giving them some sort of idea what Ash's adventures were when it first aired (all the while giving its own take on the said journey).
Any veteran Pokémon fan would somewhat be disappointed by the cast of characters as they're no longer the original familiar faces we grew up with, but take note that this film is for the newer Pokémon fans. It's a fresh take on Ash's journey per se.
Story: 6/10

gist of the original story of the anime, there are noticeable changes if you compare the story of the film to the anime. But all in all, the plot of the movie has the idea of the original but misses some key parts of the original in order to make up with the film's run time.
Ash goes back to the beginning of his journey but with more Pokémon from different generations.
Art: 7/10
If you've been following Pokémon ever since the first film, you can really tell the improvements of the animation and art style. There are some scenes that are drawn beautifully and battle scenes where you can really feel the battle. Given that it's an anime film, you can expect the animation team to go all out.
Sound: 7/10
The soundtrack is amazing you can feel nostalgic with the rendition of the Pokémon theme and some music taken from the series as a whole.
Characters: 6/10
If you read the MAL page of the film, then yes. Brock and Misty are no longer Ash's companions. Instead, we get two new characters with different goals and dreams. Depending on how you accept them is purely up to the viewer, but personally I'd take Brock and Misty over the newer companions. It's not the nostalgia that's talking, but its more because they're more memorable than Souji and Makoto.
Enjoyment: 8/10
Well, it's Pokémon. Even if they changed the story of Ash in this re-imagining, the fight scenes are always enjoyable. Aside from that, the film also has moments that touch the little nostalgic hearts we have for this series (one in particular made me cry personally, made me remember all the memories I had with the series).
Overall, I'd give it a 7, the film is more catered for newer Pokémon fans. From the plot, to the characters, to pretty much everything, it all aims to please young kids that are first exposed to the series. To any older fans out there, the film is somewhat nostalgic, even if everything is changed, the general idea of Ash's first journey still remains the same.

To anyone curious about this manga, this is a TL;DR.
The whole plot of the manga is about a high school girl wanting her Oji-san to teach her "bad things". Every chapter basically follows the idea of subverting the expectations of the reader the moment they read the first panel.
Though common, the subversion gimmick gets old fast.
So for the story, its a 5/10. It's not something new, and it's not something to write home about. Regardless, the relationship between the MC and the Oji-san is wholesome, to some degree.
Art: 8/10
Art style is good, can't complain. Ayumu is adroable and her expressions and how she's drawn is

cute. Same goes for the Oji-san. The art style helps in showing the reader that this is a light-hearted manga.
Character: 6/10
Character roster is somewhat short, but memorable. I'd give it a 6, based on how they could've gotten more appearances in the manga.
Enjoyment: 7/10
Solid 7. Depends on how you view it, it's a light-hearted manga about a girl and her Oji-san. Everything is implied just to subvert the reader but like what I said, it gets old. Though their antics are fun to read.
Overall, a 6/10 manga.

Stumbled upon this gem, got to a point where I was screaming like a fangirl every chapter, here we go:
10/10 in everything, why? Because:
This is a slice-of-life manga that has a realistic progression of a relationship. No gimmicks, no other convenient plot device to push two people together, nothing. Just a boy who likes a girl that forgets her glasses. Friends at the start, and somewhat develops into something more naturally.

Kaede is a shy boy and a lovable dork. Ai (Mie-san) is also the same with or without the glasses.
It's that, the whole setting of this manga is really cute, it captures the idea of an innocent crush between two middle schoolers as they spend time and learning with one another.
Overall, I really recommend this manga to anyone who wants a normal slice-of-life, innocent, romantic subtext manga. It's worth the read.

Just finished reading the manga, and I somewhat like it.
Here we go for the review:
Story: 7/10
The story, like its title, is straightforward. It's all about a boy and a girl that are so direct about everything. It's loud, obnoxious, and irritating for some but that's the whole gimmick of the manga. It's a romance manga that doesn't take itself too seriously with all the clichés and sob stories, instead it's as straightforward as you can get. Depending on how you handle the comedic parts and the general gimmick affects how you view the manga itself. But, its worth noting that this story is not the

typical romantic-comedy genre with complex male and female leads. Nope, its just two idiots and their antics of professing their love.
While yes the whole concept can be jarring to read from time to time, there are moments in the manga that slows down, and gives heartwarming moments that balances out the bizarre antics of Honda and Mako.
Art: 10/10
Solid art, especially where the scenes where Honda and Mako's antics are shown, you can really feel that the author had fun drawing these scenes and their general reactions to the situation. Like the story itself, the art can go loud, and by loud, I mean REALLY LOUD. Because of that, some scenes are funny to read and sometimes you can hear their expressions.
Characters: 6/10
The characters are memorable given the small cast, Honda and Mako are both similar in terms of character (given that's the title of the manga). You also have their parents, siblings and classmates that have their own certain charm to add to the manga.
Enjoyment: 7/10
The manga was enjoyable to read, the comedy was really funny and the antics along with the exaggerated art style is what makes this manga really fun to read. The side stories are also nice, giving some context to previous chapters and if the comedy is too much, there are a balance of toned down scenes for more serious topics.
Overall, a decent 7/10, a romance manga that doesn't take itself seriously and is somewhat averagely length. It's good that way, given if it were to drag on, then we would've gotten tired of Honda and Mako. Read it for the comedy, not for its romance.

I read this back on my high school days so my memory of this manga is kind of rusty, but here goes.
Story: 6/10
Story is decent, the main plot point here is just to find the reason why Yuuna, our ghost girl is bounded by the Yuragi inn. Which is pretty much it, plus its an ecchi harem manga ofc. We get different arcs as the story progresses focusing on introducing new characters to root for, character arcs to really flesh out each female love interest, and tiny snippets of lore for Yunna. Really good art, the ecchi scenes and the characters are drawn really well. It's the art style itself that gives the characters and the manga its charm.

Since this is a harem anime, every single girl that is a potential love interest to the MC has the common harem anime girl trope. You have: your best girl, the tsundere, the kuudere, basically, if you've read/watched a lot of harem ecchi anime/manga, expect the common tropes to be here.
Oh and the MC is solid, not your typical thickheaded MC, but one that has common sense and is not oblivious to all the hints that are thrown at him. I'd say he's a chad.
Enjoyment: 7/10
This manga is a fun read, and a welcome recommendation for anyone. It has action, cute girls, comedy, and an MC with brains.
Overall, I'd give it a 6.

There's no story. It's all about a boy trying to tell if the girl he likes actually likes her. With the girl dropping some "hints". Think of it as Karakai Jozou no Takagi-san but with less teasing.
The art is really good though, and its the art style that somewhat captivates a person to check this manga out. Characters are well drawn and are beautiful.
Characters are hit or miss. Yokoyama has that generic male mc vibe, Hoshino's character can be confusing, and the only character that's worth reading is Yokoyama's senpai (which is another love interest, because of course, plot).
Enjoyment? Well, it's also hit or miss,

First yuri manga, read it for it's military aesthetic, stayed for its story and romance.
Story:
Well the story of Koushin Koinu ni Koibumi wo is more than just yuri, it showcases the idea of having someone as an inspiration, being motivated by that someone to do better and someday becoming a person that can watch over them or be with them till the end of the world. It's really cute how we get to see Indou slowly develop herself each chapter and how her development also affects the people around her.

The art itself is really good, a lot of cute characters, and a lot of funny

Indou faces as well. Scenes are drawn pretty well along with the expressions of the characters that really makes this manga worth reading.
Characters:
Indou is adorable, each of her scenes are fun to read, it kind of makes you think that the author had fun drawing her. Kagami is also really good as she gives off that cool type of a person, plus she has a cute side as well. The rest of the cast, though relatively short, are also memorable as some of them have persons they also care for and what helps motivate them into becoming a better person.
Enjoyment:
The manga itself is a fun one, it's a take on the yuri genre with a military theme. The scenes are drawn with love and is enjoyable, the yuri on this manga is somewhat tame, and is understandable given that its theme follows around military principles and rules. I like it though, it's short and sweet.
Overall, if you want a nice yuri manga with girls dressed in military uniforms, then this is your manga. Underrated, worth calling it a hidden gem.
