So far D.Gray-man is as typical as a shounen anime can be. The plot is interesting but I've seen this kind of story done before and the animation is just above average. Well I've only seen 5 eps. so far but I think the most I'll possibly give it is 8/10. ^_^

Yeah it certainly gets better in the comedy and romance aspects but if you're not into tsunderes and ecchi fanservice then don't bother. ^_^

My opinion of Code Geass R2 is pretty much the same as yours but just to add that there's quite a lot of needless fanservice and convenient plot-twist.
As for what I'm looking forward to, even though this season's listings is disappointing I'm expect good things from: Blade of the Immortal, Natsume Yuujinchou, Zero no Tsukaima ~Princess no Rondo~ & Sekirei (just started). ^_^
