The story isn't great, but I don't think that it's bad, either. It's certainly not a waste of time, in my opinion, especially considering that the art is pretty good. Goraihou Gakuen e Youkoso doesn't have a "main" storyline as of volume 3, but plenty of manga don't (especially in the beginning). It's a cute read, and reminds me of CLAMP School Detectives with a supernatural twist.

This is a very enjoyable, albeit short, shipwrecked/apocalypse/survival manga. Like most shounen manga of this variety, almost all of the "good guys" are teens whose biggest enemy are adults, but this one is quite enjoyable. Although I wish it was a bit longer, it still has a good ending (which is better than a drawn-out manga, in my opinion).

It's good if you're looking for something that can be read within a day, and you're not looking for anything too deep or powerful.

Quite honestly, I was surprised by how much this manga drew me in. I find that it's usually only the very good, but little-known manga that have this kind of pull on people. Anything that I write probably won't do Hitsuji no Uta justice, but I'll try anyways.

The characters are extremly dynamic, and in a good way. Throughout the story, they change, mature, move forward, backwards, and forward once more. There is also nothing that is completely certain in this manga; it seems to lack the usual stereotypes and absolute courses of action that most manga are riddled with (not that ...
