Yeah, it sucks that only the super popular stuff ends up getting more seasons, but I guess in the long run it makes sense as anime is made to make money. Usually anyway.

In a way I can agree that the ending was beautiful and poetic. I also agree with it being warm and heartbreaking. I even agree that it didn't really leave with a cliffhanger, but I myself know some spoilers from the light novels and it intrigues me quite a bit. I would rather not know them of course and obviously won't tell you as that would be mean, but I really would like a second season even if I think it is probably impossible.

Which I guess is where the light novels come in for this show. You can either read on or if you are satisfied stay where you are at.

That is its major problem. People look at it and think it is generic when really it is quite a complex show. 140k members isn't low you are right, but the Bluray sold pretty poorly. I am worried it is just not popular enough to get another season. At least the novels are getting translated. First one comes out July 24th but still, I wish it were more popular. While I haven't read the light novels as I am waiting for the proper releases for it I know it didn't cover the whole story. I just hope it gets another season.
