This is overall one of my favorite anime, but this review is still my opinion. Please respect that without further ado. Please mind if there are any grammatical errors. I'll try to keep it a little brief though.
Story: (9)
I loved this original story for Ginga Densentsu Weed. Like how life goes, there are events throughout the show that draws the characters a little off corse. But there aren't so much where the characters are blinded to what their main goal is. Like many shounen anime, there will be various fight scenes. Bloodshed, bruises, and the tension of the battle field. There was never a time
...
in the anime did I think "is it done yet?"
Art: (7)
Dogs and wolves, what an interesting idea. The dogs' movements sometimes look a little wonky. Especially when you see the backs of them as they run. All the other movements are actually very well done. The muscles of the dogs are a little humanized, so the art style is a little bit of an acquired taste.
Sound: (6)
The characters don't have a bad sound quality. You never hear the audio break or have wrong sound effects. Things sound right, and never dip. It never sounded stuffy when it comes to sound quality.
Characters: (10)
I became very attached to all the characters in Ginga Densentsu Weed. Whenever a character died I wanted to cry. The character development was gradual, but you could feel like you knew the characters all your life. There were no surprises when it came to character actions. Characters didn't break from their personality, and I couldn't hate any of the characters. Even the antagonists you could definitely feel sypothy for. Sometimes there were times where I didn't want the main antagonists to die.
Overall: (9)
Overall this is my favorite anime. I could rewatch every episode without getting tired of a character.

Notice: Spoilers in Story section
Now, I absolutely loved the anime. I will not say it's the best, or the worst. It is entirely my opinion. I saw this when I was in fifth grade, and I re watched it many times throughout my life. This could mean two things; I'm brutally honest, or I'm just a critic.
Story: (8)
The story was an amazing idea. Watching to smart minds compete against one and anouther was the best idea I heard. Each time I watched it, I could see more jokes that peak through every now and then.
Until... Light managed to kill L. It started to go down
...
headfirst. Now only did everyone get sad, but it lost its spark! L was a fantastic character that the fandom grew on. Then, they brought in a "second generation L" to take his place.
I tried to pull through, but this character took the role of L to the extreme. Making it boring. This story ended up with a less spark, getting more rushed to be finished.
Art: (8)
Well done, but there shouldn't be that much blood should there? Does the human body bleed that much?
Sound: (8)
Well done, you can hear the screaming nice and loud!
Characters: (6)
Yes, I rated a 6. The characters didn't maintain their roles and tried to take of another's in various places. Near tries to take L, L tries to be like Light in some episodes, and Misa tries to be too much like Amy Rose. They were great ideas, yet they all are just missing something...
Spoiler:
When in the last episode, Light became so stupid I just wanted to punch him.
End of spoiler
Enjoyment: (9)
It would be a 10, but the flaws brought it down.
Overall: (8)

-This review contains spoilers-
Akame Ga Kill is a very uniquely done anime for all its feels and storyline. I am someone who asks the following questions while watching any kind of anime:
-What are the relationship between the characters?
-Is it staying true to the storyline?
-Is there any obnoxious characters/features?
-Can you see development of these characters?
-Is there good humor?
-What character(s) can I relate to?
...
It passed all my questions, and here is why.
-Story-
The idea was very well done and it doesn't seem like one where it could stray. It really did stay true to its story and everything was held up until the end. It just didn't seem finished, but that's like nearly every anime. You just don't want it to end. But what is there to continue from there? In the end, only two of the main characters were still alive. Winning the battle and moving on with their lives. So it would be more of an anime like "Nichijo" rather than more of like "Parasyte."
-Art-
It was a fairly done art style, but sometimes it wouldn't make sense as to how short hair can suddenly turn into long hair the next scene. It's not too bad, and there's not too much blood that was too hard for me to settle. They occasionally show a heart, but thats usually the only origin they show.
-Sound-
If there wasn't so much screaming, I would give it a 10. I shouldn't really say it was the worst because of the screaming, but it's sounding clear and clean.
-Characters-
At first these characters seem pretty terrifying and not very friendly. However, as time progresses, their just normal people trying to fight for what was right. They are very lovable and the backstories are just fantastic. When they die, it's very unexpected sometimes and you probably will hate it for a while. But I managed to get throughout to the end, and all the characters you hate tend to die off as well.
-Overall-
I really enjoyed this anime and it's great for amazing battle scenes and very lovable characters. All in all, I highly recommend it to someone who loves shounen.

-warning: first review and you may be offended-
Alright, so this is so poorly done that I had to write down all my complaints about this anime. It just simply cannot be fully explained in words.
Story:
The story is about... aliens trying to take over the world? How American can that sound? I wanted to try it out myself. It had many plotholes, no real development or explanation, just a bunch of people screaming and not doing a single thing about it. I don't mind alien/inhuman animes, like Pupa and Parasyte. But this was just so over-exagerated that I ended up laughing.
Art:
It's actually very pretty for
...
being released in 2005. It's very nicely done but lacks bright colors than what it needs. Nothing else to say though, I can't complain much about the art besides the color plate they chose.
Sound:
Nice and clear, but half the anime is just the sound of girls that could be in heat. Who knows what's actually happening to them behind the Mic, because no one seems to be saying much and making too many extra sounds. I know it's to show their emotions a bit more, but it's like their American voice actors now. Probably got them off the streets....
Character:
Where do I begin? I will just shorten it into three words, "No. Character. Development." Nothing adapted at all, I wasn't attached to a single character. The only way you can feel bad about these characters is if you imagine they have a family.
Overall:
Little effort of everything it seems. Don't worry, you may not agree with me. But I think allot of other people would.
