Story - Brilliant. Superb. In afterstory, I would say the plot moves much faster than the original Clannad. This, however, is by no means a bad thing. We are introduced to more of the cast. Afterstory captures the transition one has to deal with when moving on from school, into society, and tells that story through the eyes of our protagonist.

Character - The characters each hold their own distinct personalities, to the point they seem almost like real life people. As the world changes, they adapt to it, and they themselves change. One perfect example would be Tomoya Okazaki, our main protagonist. ...

This anime is undoubtedly an enjoyable experience. The story itself is fairly interesting. It follows Kamito and the girls whom he befriends at the academy he is whisked to. The characters are lovable, and each has their own backstory, filled with rich events and overflowing with mystery, captivating the interest of the audience. The only flaws in this anime would be the producers and the excess of fa nservice. As far as pacing goes, it seems to be flowing nicely along, up until the last few episodes. The last episodes feel rushed, and parts of the original manga is left out. The fan service ...

This anime seems to defy normal logic. When told "this anime's best points are SEX JOKES!" I am sure most people would lose interest. Yet, this anime somehow is able to put itself out there with other great plot filled tear jerking anime simply through the uniqueness it holds. The jokes are played well, the characters contribute well to the flow, and it seems to carry a universal appeal. Even if you don't understand the jokes, the art and music alone would be a good enough a reason to at least give it a try. Highly recommend to just about anyone!

I found the strong point in this series being the story. In the first few episodes, it was intriguing, and the story was progressing well. It presents a great deal of mystery and potential. The way the characters are introduced is clever, and each episode masterfully presents a captivating theme throughout, and ends with you desperately wanting to know what happens next. Sadly, as it moves on, and the harem aspect becomes more apparent, the story slowly dies. Instead of the action, fights, and moving moments, fan service becomes commonplace. As for character background, the only character with a fleshed out back story would ...
