Kanojo wo Mamoru 51 no Houhou

Some may totally question how different Kurozuka and 51 is, but I find that both give off the same apocalyptic-feel. 51 has more comedy relief than Kurozka (although it is definitely not a comedy), Kurozuka has much more gore than you may ever see (comparable to Elfen Lied). Somehow these two mangas, just remind me of each other. I highly recommend you try the first chapter of Kurozuka or 51 if you liked the other. You may be in for an angst-y surprise.

Kaze hikaru is similar to Tenka Ichi in how the protagonists pretend to be males to blend in with the rest of the males in their troupe.

Kaze Hikaru
add

Although Kaze Hikaru is longer and isn't complete yet, the way that Tamaki from Ouran High School Host Club acts is just like him! (except from the 'oni' thing) As the series goes on you'll also notice a very, very similar point in their personalities! No spoilers here but if you liked one, you'll definetely like the other for the TAMAKI-NESS/SOUJI-NESS!

Basilisk: Kouga Ninpou Chou
add

Rurouni Kenshin Tsuiokuhen is definetly like Basilisk. They carry the same sense of action and romance. The hint of romance in these two also makes these two extremely similar. Although Basilisk is about ninjas, Kenshin is about Samurai. Both are definetely worth watching.

Both of these animes have a really Japanese feel to it. Other than Japanese practises, they both incorporate the fantasy genre into them.

Although Spirited Away has a lighter hint of romance, they are both exotic when it comes to expressing Japanese culture.

Romance, historical oriental setting and politics! Although there are all these similar genres, Saiunkoku Monogatari has a lighter feel to it :D but the art is the same -- Just as beautiful! both are also full of bishies and a strong female lead XD
