Not as good as previous seasons

The whole show just seemed cheesier somehow than its previous seasons. I'm trying to think of the correct way to explain it and the best I came up with is this:
If the original series was written in a style that would appeal to teenagers/young adults, and then they added all the nudity and sexual references to it to make it adult. The style of this one seems like it was written for the 8-12yo market, so even with the added sexual references etc, the characters, story and whole premise come across as juvenile.

Artwork:
Most of the characters are similar enough ...

Average at best.

This anime started out okay and after the first four episodes I held out some hope for it. After that it quickly declined into the average run of the mill isekai anime currently flooding the market, with an over powered main character and a harem of girls.

There is nothing particularly new or groundbreaking in this anime. The action is average at best and other than Yue, the harem girls are pathetically poor characters.

Overall this had the potential to be something decent, but failed miserably.
If you like isekai anime, it is watchable, but otherwise I would give this one a miss.

I would ...

Kengan Ashura (Anime) add
Haven't read the manga, so unbiased at time of reviewing.

Story:
The biggest companies in Japan are all members of the Kengan Association. Whenever these companies come into conflict, such as both wanting to build on a particular spot, or bid on the same contract etc, the matter is resolved in an underground street fight known as a Kengan match. The Kengan association president oversees these matches and makes sure that the agreed upon terms are enforced. So the better the fighter is, the more money the company makes.

A few episodes in it is decided that there will be a Kengan tournament. Each company in the ...

Disappointing

Story: Terrible.
So there are a million excaliburs located in the past. Anyone who can wield an excalibur is given the title of Arthur. These million excaliburs are causing some sort of time dilation so they need to be destroyed. Hence six present day Arthurs' are sent back in time to destroy them.

However they don't bother to tell you why there are a million excaliburs, why they are causing time dilation, why the majority of Arthurs/Excaliburs are pathetically weak (defeated with one swing from the hero's excalibur). You are just supposed to accept it.

Each excalibur once drawn from stone can change itself into any ...

Hikaru no Go (Anime) add
Given the story line, I didn't have a lot of expectation going into this one and ended up pleasantly surprised. There are no amazing episodes, just a good paced, easy to watch story that was an enjoyable way to pass the time. It was even tempting to learn how to play go after watching this.

The art wasn't spectacular, but I liked the subtle aging of the young characters as they grew over the two or so years this series takes place.

After the series finished, even though it wasn't mind blowingly amazing, I often thought about it and ended up re-watching the series again and ...

Preliminary (13/25 eps)
I will keep this review short and to the point.
For the isekai genre (summoned to another world type anime) this is one of, if not the best one I have seen so far.

I am enjoying this series more than I enjoyed:
Overlord
That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime (Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken)
KonoSuba: Gods Blessing on Ohis World (Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo!)
Isekai Cheat Magician (Isekai Cheat Majutsushi)
How Not To Summon A Demon Lord (Isekai Maou to Shoukan Shoujo no Dorei Majutsu)
The Master of Ragnarok & Blesser of Einherjar (Hyakuren no Haou to Seiyaku no Valkyria )
Death March to the Parallel World Rhapsody ...

If having watched the first season, you are unsure whether its worth continuing on with the series, rest assured the second season is better.

The story line for the second season is more series oriented rather than being episodic like the first season was. The first arc (which is more of a prequel), while annoying at first because it doesn't follow directly on from the first season, turned out to be very enjoyable. Episode 5 we return to the story that was set up at the end of the first season and other than one random episode about the super detective guy, it was non-stop action.

Definitely ...

The first thing you need to know about Kyoukaisenjou no Horizon is that it gets better the further it goes along. The second season is also better than the first. So if you do decide to give it a go and are unsure after the first couple episodes, I suggest sticking with it.

The story line can be difficult to follow. They don't take the time to properly explain to you the history of the world or the politics, you're just expected to follow with only a limited grasp on these things.
To make it even more difficult, there are heaps of characters to keep track of ...

Kept waiting for something to happen.

This show is fairly easy to watch and there are some moments that will make you laugh.
Overall though nothing really happened. You would think a show about girls with telekinetic powers and some shadowy organization would have more violence, fights or anything really.
Instead you are treated to 12 episodes of Hina wanting food and lazing about. Nitta caring for and often complaining about Hina. Ansu's life as a homeless teen (which was probably the most interesting part of the show) and finally Hitomi working in Nitta's favorite bar and occasionally helping Hina or Ansu.

This show is very episodic, with ...

Disappointing.

I knew exactly what to expect when I started watching this anime and though nothing is original about the story, or the characters, I have always enjoyed anime like this.

So its a typical school type setting where the worst students are given an outcast teacher to help them improve or face expulsion. Add to that the girls are cute, have super powers and have to battle other students. So when it comes time for the annual school battle, the girls as expected compete and prove to everyone they aren't the losers everyone thought they were. Brilliant, seen heaps of anime just like it and ...
