He essentially becomes a normal person, gives her space and does other things that don't revolve around her after his rejection (twice in the first 2x episodes).
I expect the whole premise is her being true to her feelings or whatever, but I'm just not invested in her character and attitude.
All that happens is he goes about his day, while she’s pining, being jealous or annoyed she’s not getting the attention he used to give her.
This dynamic I assume carries on beyond the 3rd episode, but I've had enough.
Don't give me this BS.

I'd rate the first half 7/10, but the 2nd half was kind of a slog to get through at 6/10.
From half to three-quarter mark, the protagonist's "will they-won't they" hit peak frustration and I'm not sure I've felt so annoyed in almost anything I've read so far. Overall the show hits extremely well with comedy, I always felt like it could make you laugh any time it wanted. The final part of the story was a good wrap up albeit short. I'm also quite disappointed that no one kissed anyone at all in the entire story, the seinen tag was only applicable to the dirty jokes. Lastly, I ...

I felt the latter half of the story was too rushed and there was a distinct lack of character development for important characters (which is an understatement).
I would say I was left dissatisfied by the end, due to the aforementioned character development causing it to be anticlimactic. Filler info: Generally a 'cute' story and I was invested in the characters in the first half, but working my way up to the 3-quarter mark, I was concerned (rightly so) that there wasn't sufficient content to wrap up the plot, while adding closure to all other characters. So it would be fair to say that it is unfulfilling. |
