So I really tried to like this show. I have a couple childhood friends that love it but dont really give much of a reason why, they just swear by it so i gave it a go. Mind you, im typically into anime that illicit some kind of emotional reaction whether is laughter, crying, goosebumps from action or anger from characters making misakes.
This anime did not get much of a reaction at all. I might have chuckled a couple times at the most. Theres little to no background music, the action is short lived and not very nice to look at, its on angel beats

First and foremost, whoever said this anime is like suzuka is dead wrong.
Theres no confession, no kiss, no hug, no plot, no drama, it doesnt take itself seriously so its pretty hard to take it seriously. All the main character gets is her phone number after 12 episodes. The one saving grace of this show is the art style is pretty nice. Both main characters have very bland personalities, in fact the most entertainment youll get from this show is the side characters. Not to mention theres a lot of joking about pedos for some strange reason. Seriously this show shouldnt be considered a romance. Its ...

Compared to other romance anime, this one is a little bit older but i really like how the characters are portrayed in a realistic and even traditional way.
I love a romance where there arent too many characters to keep track of and theres plenty of drama mixed in with some comedy. This anime teaches a valuable lesson about not giving up on the things you want, and the main characters actually have likeable personalities. It takes itself seriously so it makes it easier to take the anime seriously. It has a similar feel to white album 2 in the sense both the main female leads ... |
