Gunna be honest here; I only watched it for the hentai. :x It's infamous for it's hentai scenes (only 2 in the whole movie) and they're probably the most detailed and extravagant animated porn I've seen.
Story was ok. Wasn't great...wasn't bad either. Animation all around was great.

I loved this series. The dubbing was hilarious and the concept was very interesting. It's a classic of tentacle rape hentai and the story moves a lot faster than MOST hentai...though repeated animation gets so boring and takes so long to get through. If you've seen the classic (and hilarious) tentacle hentai La Blue Girl and enjoyed it's concept, La Blue Girl Returns is a big step up. The same characters come back in this series to battle some butterfly demons and protect the Shikima realm! The artwork is vibrant with much smoother animation too.
For me, this is all just classic. Be sure you watch the first La Blue Girl before seeing this one so you know the history of the characters. The girls work nicely as a team. I especially love the intro to this series. They've taken the old theme song and made it much catchier. |
