I'm writing this review after watching the anime adaption, as I genuinely loved the anime and wanted to continue the story after. It was very unusual for me as I generally don't read mangas, but the anime was so great I had high expectations for the manga. And let me say - it totally lived up to those expectations.

I'm a fan of the seasonal "trash" anime, and you already know what I'm talking about. Guy meets girl, she instantly falls in love, some stuff happens, then the show's over. The Quintessential Quintuplets, however, spices things up and isn't the overly cliche show you would expect.

The harem is five girls who, as you might expect from the title, are all sisters! It leads to some funny moments regarding their looks and being mix matched, but it also has some more semi-serious moments because of that sisterhood. The five girls are all pretty unique in personalities, and at least one will cater to you certainly. ...

The classic story of Romeo and Juliet, modernized into a high school setting just as you would expect out of Japan... except a bit less serious and [spoilers: not ending in them both dying horribly]. This time around, it isn't so tragic and is actually quite funny, while still having some feels and making you attached to the main characters. I'll try to keep the review relatively short, but I'll end up writing a lot like I always end up doing. So. I'll put a TL;DR at the end that sums up my thoughts.

So I just finished this show today, and I am going to give you guys (and girls) a rating for each aspect of the show, and then I will give an overall review at the bottom.

The story was quite enticing, and it always left me wondering what would happen next, and it always stayed true to the main character's goal, Raishin, fighting along side his partner, Yaya. There were really no filler episodes, as each episode had some sort of meaning or foreshadowing that led into future episodes.
