I've had some experiences myself with romance comedies that stayed funny untill the end, but that's just a different genre, you could say. That's another reason I don't like comedy to be mixed up with drama; they're totally different things and tend to mess up things if they're left together.

Indeed, you have a point about Toradora! being a romantic comedy, but let's not forget entirely that it had these 'darker' tones to begin with.

After taking a look at your profile I saw that you havent watched lots of anime like this (Correct me if I'm wrong though ^^;). They always start off kinda slowly so the viewer can get to know the characters and, well, after half a season it turns more serious.

As for Toradora! specifically, I wasn't annoyed by the fact it turned out more serious, neither didn't I like the ending (But I wouldn't mind if an OVA to clear things up came out =P).

Good to see you took my recommendation on The World Only God Knows, you should try One Piece next.

Yeah, I think I agree. Though I like the list more at MAL because it's even simpler - watching and completed. Backloggery confused me a lot when I first saw it but I guess it's convenient this way when it comes to gaming :P. I just got it a few days ago and, as you said in the forum, it really motivates me to beat some games I have laying around.
