What a good show! It doesn't look like anything special just looking at its page, but I decided to give it a chance because of the high reviews and I am very glad I did. I think this is a unique show. The writing is wonderful. I was happily surprised by the theme of having compassion for animals, I've never seen that in an anime before. The story is genuinely interesting and complex but not frustratingly complex. It's a full and whole story; there's no plot holes and nothing intentionally left out to confuse you or make you wonder, so it leaves you feeling good
