This is one of those animes that 12 year olds and angsty teenagers will love for all the action, shock and awe, and ethically questionable shameless fanservice. But if you are even a normally functioning, semi decent human being, you'd be embarrassed at yourself for ever watching and liking this as you grow older.

If you want to drop this Anime after watching the first few episodes because it appears too "slow" and "boring", then you'd be missing out on an incredible journey, characters and drama. At the very least, watch until episode 7 and if you still dislike it then, it would be safe to say it's not for you.
