I'm pretty open for discussions and hearing different opinions, I don't think I will start an arguement about something, since you can always polite disagree with different viewpoints (and argueing a few days with a stranger over the internet if Kiritsugu is "just great" or "THE greatest" male character in the TM-Universe (see below) is pretty much a waste of time xD).
I also have to say that Kiritsugu is one of my most favorite male characters ever, even though I'm more of a Kotomine-Fan (now destroy me xD).

Usually, great visual novels aren't short. Umineko is one of the longest story and my favorite too so I hope you'll read it one day! Let's see... I would recommend Ever17 if you're looking for a thriller. It was a little bit confusing at first but really really awesome. On the contrary, Little Busters & Rewrite are more like school life with drama (with surnatural events which are unpredicable). Speaking of Rewrite, my personality is the same as the character named Lucia (Her route was done by Ryukishi07, the author of Umineko by the way). Very funny, right?
Obviously the Fate franchise~ Waiting for the Tsukihime VN remake to come then after that the inevitable ufotable anime remake and Mahoyo anime adaption~ Fate/Hollow Ataraxia actually finished translations recently so I'll be playing that later.
I can totally understand that, I'm not a huge critic and take enjoyment a lot more in account. And you pretty much said everything I also think, different opinions and rating systems which take other aspects into account are pretty much the the thing which makes a hobby this rich. I'm also more of a person who likes to "fanboy" about something more than to rant about it with another person, but discussing a work you liked more than me or vice versa (as long as there is no hate, but I'm pretty positive that you're a person who can explain his opinions rationally and with respect with other opinions and who can take constructive critic) should also prove pretty interesting to see a different view and aspects. So... for starters, nice to meet you xD

Haha Thanks. Since we both share a lot of aspects in our taste, I also can say that you have a pretty great taste. You rate your anime in most cases a lot more harshly than I do, but since I respect your opinion, and I'm not a guy like "Uuuuh... You didn't like show XY which I absolutely loved... Can't talk to this person." (which I actually encounter often), I'm pretty okay with that.

Like everyone else, I want to believe that I have a great taste, which is pretty much the most subjective thing there is.
