The one thing that I shunned for so long just made me cry harder and longer than I ever have in my life. I always used to think that anime was just Japanese cartoons, and that you were pretty childish if you watched them. I have realised the fault in my prejudice, and now know that you can never judge a book by its cover.

I haven't seen a lot of anime yet, but I plan to see so much more. The fact that I just felt emotions that have been inactive for years is a testament to just how powerful a good story and good ... characters can be. I will forever hold Clannad in my heart as a beautiful masterpiece.
