To be fair, Akame ga kill is a masterpiece, the fact that a plot like this exists is just amazing, so let me demonstrate.
SPOILER ALERT!
The manga had a way better ending, the characters didn't die. At least most of them. However, this doesn't change the idea that the anime is really good. Nonetheless. The manga had way better idea, demon infused Incursio, Mine and Tatsumi ending together, the reviving imperial arms, Kurome living and much more to see!
I wish the anime gets a revamp, or at least gets another season. (Which is not likely because the author is working on a new anime.) So
