divine gate for me is basically the most confusing anime in term of story and character progression that i felt after watching it untill the end
to be honest this anime start pretty well, the fighting look good, the animation good and i kinda like the op,and the story look promising about a sillent type mc that gradually find new happines with the other 2 protagonist and fight together after being convicted murdering his parent(that probably deserve it if you watch it till the end), the progression of the mc itself took half a season to do it, but after it this anime completely rushed the

heavy object is a tactical action war between a smart lucky normal human being vs a highly modern advance giant tank that keep you entertain with the way the main mc(a normal enginere student) fight (most of the time is being forced) a giant advance tank(that can easily wipe entire army) with his partners( a same normal human being soldier and an old gen heavy object with cute girl as the pilot)
each episode delivered with a nice story progress and good character progress, each protagonist character has it's own purpose and not being a hinder to other protagonist progress and each developed in good way, ...

although Schwarzesmarken is set up as spin off of the muv luv:TE but for me it feels like a prequel rather then spin off really, since the mech(almost the same) and the beta(they are still the same but there are new enemy like fortress type) but i enjoyed and satisfied with each episode that came out.
good mecha fight, good character progression and story phasing, and well balanced between story and battle makes it worth the time i spend watching this. and the story itself can teach you about history to, about the revolution of east german(i hate history classes) with it's own unique story progress and ... |
