Now I watched all of the first Gundam as episodes and not as movies, so I decided to make this review on the final movie to make it easier. Definition of a Mid anime. To put it simply, you're sitting to watch a 43 episode history docu of “Space WWII.” It has its moments of being interesting and also has a good way of how war can affect a person. Amuro (MC) is 15 when the show starts, just a kid who likes to tinker. Then he turns into a battle-hardened warrior with a 400/0/0 KDA. The side characters thankfully don’t suffer from what I ... like to call the “MHA problem.” Although there are a ton of side characters, most don’t really matter since they don't affect the plot too much, so forgetting them isn't the biggest crime. However, the major problem this anime has is that you really can start anywhere (Remember I didn't watch it as movies.) You could basically skip to any episode, although not getting all the context, could simply keep going since the show just either skips it or tells it again. Overall, MID.

Castlevania: Symphony Of The Night, that’s it, that’s the whole movie. Ironically one of the better vampire movies I’ve seen, it wasn’t too hard on most vampire cliches but it was more enjoyable than most I've seen. D is one of the coolest MCs I’ve seen, a half-human half-vampire that is also a vampire hunter paid to rescue a kidnapped girl. That is it itself is pretty cool and badass. Problem is that it’s very Castlevania, not much else going for it, it shows off different monsters in a creative way, but doesn’t really bring something extremely new to the table. Leila is a cool ... character, but not enough to get me to really care for her much. Also the end really just throws everything at the animation tablet, like a flying castle, yep, that happens. You can tell from this movie that Studio Ghibli truly has a polish that most studios don’t have. Similar to Howl's Castle, this movie has a charm that doesn’t need an over explanation to describe why it's good. Spirited Away also shows a creative side of anime that I’ve never seen. Sure it takes similar concepts from other shows/movies, but I’ve never seen it shown to this extent. The only reason why this movie is a 9/10 is simply that the movie didn’t captivate me like I thought it was. Not that this movie is “overrated,” but more so that the movie didn’t grab my ... attention, as well as other shows/movies, have done in the past, although after a bit, the movie showed me how Ghibli pulls an audience back to watch.

To date, one of the best anime movies I’ve seen. Although I knew there was anime content that went in-depth about serious life issues, I never knew how perfectly it could convey those issues and concepts. The whole first part of the movie is about a kid who is a bully to someone who is auditorily impaired. You feel bad for the bullied kid, Shoko Nishimiya, and also makes you hate the MC, Shoya Ishida. Although the focus of the movie is about the building relationship that Ishida and Nishimiya are trying to have, the movie also focuses on the details of Ishida’s life, and ... how he perceives it. As much as I’d like to say the story is about Nishimiya and how the people around her affect her and how the world treats her, it seems more like a B-plot. The A-plot is how Ishida grows as a person, and as the finale of the movie shows, finally opens up to the people and world around him. This explanation may dumb the movie down immensely, but this movie is a true testament that a good story can be found on a serious topic and that it doesn’t have to end in a corny or cliche way. The only reason why this anime isn’t higher is that there are other anime that can probably tell a story as good as or even better than this movie, also some parts can drag for a bit.

By far one of the best anime films I’ve seen. To this point, I’ve never seen a Studio Ghibli film, and this one was magical. Without missing a beat this movie has given more emotion than I have seen in most blockbuster films. The animation is seamless, smooth, almost seemed impossible to try to recreate. While watching the film it can only be described as an animated Bob Ross painting, The music gives a more magical atmosphere that doesn’t bombastically state what the music is supposed to make you feel. The characters, although annoying at first, you fall in love with eventually. It’s as if ... you're watching a family grow one by one, everyone wildly different, nothing seems to be copy+pasted. Truly a masterpiece.

This Pokemon movie is very much the definition of nostalgic, but not a good one. Many people have stated that this was one of the best Pokemon films, although a good film it definitely doesn’t hold that statement. This of course is a movie for kids at the end of the day, but a lot of story beats seemed either rushed or didn’t really work. Unlike the main series, this felt like it was more aimed at kids than a wider audience, which might explain the movies that came after it. It’s still pokemon at the end of the day, and I’d watch this compared ... to other lower movies in a heartbeat, just don't expect me to watch it again.

This was the first anime movie I watched, and this was a trip. For starters, the animation was simply beautiful. I’ve seen dozens of different animation styles and art styles in general, but I never realized how beautiful an anime could look. The story itself was one of the best concepts I’ve seen for a romance anime specifically. Having the love interests switch bodies and tiring to figure out who each of them is. Supporting characters support and the plot doesn’t stray too far when looking at the daily lives of the love interests. The asteroid scene only shows how much the story wasn’t held ... back with what the writers wanted to show, and it didn’t feel like the movie went off plot too hard. I really shouldn’t have cried at this romance movie. Also, music is a banger
