Oh. That's exactly how I feel. Both are great. Inception excelled in some ways. Did you see Black Swan? Oh, my God. With all due respect to Natalie Portman, it's like a joke.

That's exactly the order I've seen his work in! Interestingly, Paprika is his most influential work. What's more, Christopher Nolan adapted it and he didn't admit it. Yes. Millennium Actress is definitely his best.

Sprited Away is magnificent! "Nothing that happens is ever forgotten, even if you can't remember it" And Howl's Moving Castle.
Grave of the Fireflies is a powerful dramatic film that happens to be animated. It is the most profoundly human anime I've ever seen. While that may sound smug to otaku, what separates it from Schindler's List is the medium. To many people, anime is for children. That hasn't changed much in 35 years.
Is Kon Satoshi your favourite director? He never missed a shot.
