Hello! I am still a very new reviewer, so please feel free to leave some constructive criticism if you would so like to! I noticed that this manga does not have any reviews as of yet, so I wanted to give my own take. Here we go:
I used to be a huge fan of the series over on YouTube. Yet, sort of fell out of love with it during the later seasons. I originally started this manga series when I was still in love with the show and I still immensely enjoyed this anthology, so please do not take this review as me hating on

the show or the manga, because that is absolutely not the case.
So, should you read this manga? Yes and no. Simply put, if you enjoy the main RWBY team (or at least a character from that team), then you will most likely enjoy this anthology. Each volume is based around one of the girls, e.g.: Red Like Roses is centered around Ruby, Mirror Mirror is centered around Weiss...etc. So, say you only liked one of the girls from team RWBY, it may be more viable to purchase the manga centered around that girl. If you do not like any of the girls from the team, then this is perhaps not the manga for you.
As a person who's favourite characters consist of Sun, Nora, Oscar and Ren, you would think I would not enjoy this anthology, right? Wrong. Eventhough, the main girls are not my favourite, I surprisingly enjoyed the little stories inside as it made me nostalgic of RWBY's first 3 volumes, due to most of the stories being set around that arc. So, if you are a huge fan of the first three volumes rather than the main girls, then you may still find some enjoyment in purchasing/reading this anthology like I did.
You probably read what I said above, and though "Stories?! There is more than one story?!" and you would be correct! This is not your typical manga. This manga consists of multiple, short fanmade stories, with each story stemming from a different writer and artist. This is basically a collection of those comics you found on Tumblr (or other similar sites) without actually coming from Tumblr (from my knowledge anyway). Because of this, there is not a consistent story or artstyle (so no character development, I'm afraid) throughout the anthology and characters appear and disappear, and ships are canon and non-canon. It all just depends on the writers' and artists' own personal preferences.This does make the entire anthology quite inconsistent, especially in the shipping department, but if you are a fan of fan-made comics/fanfiction, then this could be an interesting read for you!
The different artists artstyles all range from being super cutesy to almost shonen-like, and it makes for a really interesting dynamic throughout! I have never seen an artstyle I would directly say is "bad", every single piece of art featured is amazing! There are even some coloured pieces of art at the start of every manga, which are all visually stunning and could be great to even take out and hang up somewhere.
This anthology seems to be made entirely for fun, and for those who want more content of the four main girls. So, unlike some other RWBY manga, this is not homework for the main show, and is more created to accompany it rather than for extra knowledge.
Overall, I would rate this a 7/10, as it is still pretty enjoyable even if I do not prefer team RWBY over other characters. So please take this review with somewhat a pinch of salt, even if I did originally buy this manga when I still adored the show and all of its characters.
P.S: Special shoutout to my friends who bought me the last 2 manga of this anthology as I did not manage to collect them yet. You are both the real MVPs <3

I just noticed that most of the reviews of this movie were from people who read and enjoyed the manga, and I just wanted to give my own take as someone who has ONLY watched the anime (as of writing this review). biased as Haruki was my favourite character from the original series, however, I will try and remove that bias as much as I possibly can as I am writing this review. I will also try to remain spoiler-free as much as I possibly can, however I will be talking about a few relationships between the characters that was obvious already from the original series. This will only be very brief descriptions, and I will not go into much detail, but I just thought I should put a warning there for those who do not want any spoilers at all.
The main issue I find people talking about is the pacing, and I just wanted to say that I personally did not see any major issues. Yes, I did want to see more scenes between Uenoyama and Mafuyu. Yes, I did want to see more of the relationship between Ugestu and Akihiko. Yes, I did want to see more of Akihiko's own personal character development. However, for an hour long movie, I personally believe they paced it extremely well! It got all of the main points across (I believe it did anyway) extremely well given (haha, get it?) the time frame they were given. The Akihiko, Haruki and Ugetsu arc is also concluded fairly well, and basically tied up any loose ends that came up during the story from the movie. I have also seen many people state that some of the scenes that were cut during the movie (especially the Uenoyama and Mafuyu scenes) could be quite easily slotted back in in another sequel movie or series, so I am hoping that this is the case in the future.
I did however, enjoy this movie more than the series. Don't get me wrong, I LOVED the original series, the story-telling and everything about it was amazing. However, since the movie mainly focuses on Akihiko, Haruki and Ugetsu, who are all older characters compared to Uenoyama and Mafuyu, I felt I could relate to their stories more due to being around their ages myself. The story was also a lot more mature in nature because of that, which I really appreciated.
The music in the movie is honestly spectacular as usual, and the general art style is exactly the same as the series (nothing spectacular was added to the animation, as I have seen from other sequel movies). To me, it basically felt like a really long episode, and to be honest, I am not complaining!
Altogether, I would personally give this movie a 10/10. I do not believe it reaches some of the amazingness (I do not think that is a word, but I am making it one) of the other anime I have given a 10 on my anime list, yet I enjoyed it a lot more than the 9s I have given on my list. Altogether, I would rate it a low-tier 10, almost reaching a 9/10, but not quite.
