I actually don't remember what brought me to this series, but if I had the opportunity to tell myself to not waste my time on this Manga, I would.

The premise of Reiroukan Kenzai Nariya is genuinely a good one. Simple but charming in a way that only the Japanese seem to nail consistently. The artwork immediately reminded me of 70s era Manga and Anime, which the mangaka Tomi Akihito deserves full props for.

Mixed Feelings
After being into Anime and Manga seriously for over 10 years now, I can say with confidence that I'm familiar with the medium, as well as the genres. But there isn't a genre that I'm more judgmental of than harem romcom.

In the beginning I was accepting of most harem stories if the main character finally chose one girl by the end. But as I got older, I had more and more expectations and became less tolerable of certain tropes. It's because of this that I've ignored Harem series as of late.

Over the course of the 10 years I've taken Anime and Manga seriously, I've found very few series that I don't enjoy to some degree. But during the last few years, I've discovered a few that just don't sit well with me, as well as a few tropes.
