I don't think I've ever "acted" as if I'm actually part of the movement, but I definitely do support them.
You see, what you fail to do is to give them a chance....all you do is focus endlessly on ALL the negative aspects and you just dismiss it because in your mind they're just "morons".
Well, regardless this will continue, and after what happened in Oakland last night....that only fuels people up....not demoralize them.
Although you make some valid points....you're still missing the big picture which is that protesting injustice is NEVER a waste of time.
Let me tell you one last thing......if another month from now this all blows over, I'll shut up and say you were right, but you know what....I'm willing to place all my chips on the table, because I know these guys will continue fighting.
....and although I have yet to join them (mostly because I'm very busy at the moment) I do plan on showing my support by MORE than just having an "information war" with you and the rest of the naysayers.
Seriously I want to know, because if the things you say are true:
You're not rich, you're a moderate democrat, you believe in taxing the rich, and you think the U.S is quickly going down the shitter....
Than you fit the description of the majority of the OWS protesters.
It seems to me you're just put off because you hear these guys are "unorganized" "demanding things" "annoying"...
As I've said plenty of times in the OWS thread, Doing something is better than doing nothing, even if these guys fail, their fight will not be in vain because they have brought the discussion into the nation's attention and many truly believe the things you say, then yes the U.S is SCREWED!
Movements are NEVER perfect, you always have bad apples and they are NEVER precise, but if they continue to grow and gain momentum they have the power to change....
Don't you think we deserve to live a country that is more economically equal???
But you know what, that's not going to happen overnight, nor will it happen by sitting in our computer chairs not doing a damn thing...

HOWEVER, from most of your comments you seem to think that everything is great and dandy in the U.S....
and if you REALLY live in the U.S you would notice that that is NOT at all the case....WAI...WAIT A MINUTE...
Didn't you say you lived in ORANGE COUNTY, CA???
as in "The OC".....well, that explains EVERYTHING!!
Politics will always get very heated in any forum, however I always try to respect everyone even if I disagree with everything they have to say.
Also is your profile pic you? Because that's a pretty hot guy....
