Story. While you cant really expect strong plot from harem show, story side is enough to stick together fanservice and ecchi moments. Its hard to call it interesting or intriguing but enough to watch harem show.
Art. Because it's not action-based show, you can't expect to see something innovative from the art point of view. However, characters and background were performed decently.
Sound. You should pay attention to opening and ending of this show. While ending is kinda lighthearted, opening has very intriguing sound.

2nd season of Amagami feels weaker than 1st one. Only 2 series for each heroine is too few to create some intriguing plot, however there are still decent plot twists in some of the arcs. To be honest its difficult to distinguish 2nd season of Amagami as separate anime and not just a few extra episodes to 1st season. In this spotlight you can actually like it, but still it feels more like some extra not the standalone product

Arc-based harem show Amagami could be brilliant if not the presence of following minor drawbacks:
1. Its too long, to be honest there are only 3 interesting heroines in Amagami, watching other arcs easily become boring and frustrating (especially with useless Sakurai) 2. While Amagami is not entirely fanservice-based, there are many service thingies that could be easily skipped in favor of relationship development. In my point of view if you skip heroines you don't like you will get great show definitely worth your time.

So this another harem ecchi show, so you already know that to expect from it. However, this show has following unique features
1. Kinda strong plot, because search for his Imouto will be one of the reason you'll look forward into next episode. 2. Nice humor, situation and character traits occasionally will take place during the show. If only there were more numerous.

Its so rare sight to see that sequel didn't ruin the spirit of original. But in the case of Horizon this situation took place. If you liked 1st season, there is practically no reason for you not to watch 2nd one)

Brilliant show, with decent plot and many interesting characters. This is show that you definitely need to watch, its hard to actually say what is so intriguing, so you definitely need to watch yourselves to conduct your own opinion. You will not regret spending time to this show!

Just another harem ecchi show, where fanservice rules all. Neither plot nor characters can be called unique or interesting. However there are some merits here as well
1. Opening and Anime OST, there are some decent tracks, worth of looking into them. 2. Unexpected plot twist in the end of series. If its performed more smoothly this still can be decent anime after all. However, performance of this idea ruined even this possibility. To summarize you can easily skip this standard harem echi show, but if you don't look into Anime OST and plot twist in the end of series.

Decent harem show after all. Of course you'll probably forget about it after several months, but during show itself you'll have great enjoyment.
Story and plot part were never strong sides of harems, same applies to this one. Story is fair enough to maintain interest. What is kinda unusual is strong main character, this is so refreshing after watching tons of harems with useless main male chars. If you want to watch another harem show with cool main male character, decent art and sound, fantasy background, then this show is for you |
