I watched your name to see what the hype of the #1 anime movie was that was selling like hot cakes. I'm happy it wasn't a disappointment. Sure it wasn't amazing but it was a pretty decent movie. The story was pretty good with the body swapping but it got weird trying t o see if the story was going any where with that at all. Where the story went was very interesting with a plot twist that gives a big shock leaving you gripping your seat wondering how it'll turn out. ... Art wise CoMix Wave films studio lives up to their name of great background art and scenery not much to say. The soundtrack though i didn't pay too much attention too had moment when it hit you when it needed to at part that were growing in intensity or moments of surrealness. Though i wasn't a fan of the music video type moments that happen in CoMix Wave films studio where there is music playing and a bunch of scenery shots with no real purpose but passing the time. The characters were not all that special or interesting which made it obvious it was more of a story driven movie rather than character driven but seeing the difference between the characters when they swapped bodies was interesting none the less. Overall the movie was a 7/10. Nothing special but a decent movie none the less. Not something I would recommend as a movie to watch to someone but if they asked me if it was worth the watch i would say " It was alright."

The movie was hyped quite a lot by the anime community. I re watched the movie again just for kick and felt the same i did when i first watched it. The movie doesn't really have much substance. You could go your life with out watching the movie and be fine. The Backgrounds were beautiful and the best thing about the movie. The movie's story was basically Boy meets girl....nothing happens. There are lessons in the movie like you don't always get the one you love but you can still move on, you'll figure out your life eventually or find a way to keep going ... and not everything is going to end the way you want it to be in life.It had pretty nice lessons but the delivery didn't really hit and heart strings. The movie was very lack luster in story. The character were very bland and lacked character or development. There is not much to say about them because there wasn't much to them. The soundtrack must have been ok but i don't recall much of it so it must not have been anything great if i didn't really pay attention to it. My enjoyment for the movie was a bit poor... After i finished it I was like " Well...it was a movie... not much i can say really." The movie wasn't bad but it wasn't good either. It wasn't sweet nor bitter sweet. It was like water going down your throat.... It had little of anything to it.

I myself rated this anime a 6/10 but doing the calculation overall it was a 7. The story reminded me of attack on titan with monster trying to kill people with a main character who wanted to kill all of these said monsters. I like the whole idea of people coming together to fight a common enemy, but the story kinda lacked what i was hoping for in the story. I will come back to why I didn't like the story and where it went later on. The Art of the anime was really go especially in close up shots of character where it had ... a paint like look to the characters. Some of the animation wasn't great or they looked like they cut corner with close up so they didn't have to animate certain parts but it was ok overall other than those parts. The sound track I cannot say much about but it was the made by same composer of attack on titan's sound track Hiroyuki Sawano. I liked the soundtrack for this anime but I will have to listen to it by itself to say how much I truly enjoyed it. The characters of this anime were not really all fleshed out and their back story's were rather lack luster. I did not really care for many of the characters. The only one I liked were those that looked cool and not many really did. But than again what can you do for character development in a 12 episode anime. The only characters that were developed were the main characters Ikomu and Mumei. Everyone else was just kind of there just to be there. Ikomu was really just very linear and had little change to his character and Mumei was an annoying cocky brat for the most part but than again she was only 12 so ir is within reason. Back to the story... Without spoiling anything the story could have had more potential. They could have tried to figure out the origin of the monsters, find a cure, explore without the use of the trains, maybe even had a war between opposing factions or cities ( rather then the short one they kinda had), and many more. The story deiced to go along a rather boring plot and the "superpowers" the characters got near the end of the series was kinda disappointing. After the mid way point of the anime the plot went downhill and I had no idea where they were going to go with the story. I was not a huge fan of what they did with Mumei "brother" to make him the main plot point in the ending. The series was not bad but it wasn't good. It was a decent anime that could have been better. If it does have a second season I hope they go for more of a exploration type anime. Trying to figure out the origin of the Kabane, find a cure, find survivors, etc.

Well damn. This anime was freaking amazing. I really and truly love this anime and am glad to call it my Favorite anime. Attack on titan was my favorite until I re watched this and it blew AOT away. The story of a teenager trying to over throw a entire nation is amazing. The art was really good but not amazing due to this anime being pretty old. If this anime were remade with everything the same.... actually the art pretty much defines this anime so it's fine as how it is. The sound track of this anime was really well done and ... suited the moods of the scene really well and some songs I really enjoyed especially the hail Britannia song. The character were really well made and interesting. Expect Nena she was a little... you know what. I hate her with all my being. Every time I see her I gotta hold myself back from punching a whole in my computer screen but maybe that means her character was done so well that it makes you hate her guts. I really love Lelouch because he was bad ass strategist genies. Even if the whole world hate you you still fight for it. And for enjoyment I enjoyed this anime so much. It was pretty much life. Code Geass is a masterpiece of an anime and more anime should strive to be like it. Like masterpieces, not Code Geass. This anime is to great to have anything like it. I would give this anime a 10/10 but because no anime desires a 10/10 nor anything I give this a 9.9/10.

I watched this show as a kid and it became my favourite anime. I didn't recall much from it as I finally fished re watching after 6 years of waiting to watch it again. This anime is truly amazing. It is what every anime should strive to be like. The story was interesting in how a genius teenage boy tries to over throw an entire nation. The art was not amazing due to it's time but it was good none the less. The sound track gets you pumped and suits the scene perfectly. Yuo could just feel a scene due to the sound track. ... The characters are super enticing making fall in love with them. Except Nina. She is a little poop head and needs to die. I really enjoyed the anime to times where I felt like crying in sad moments and I got shivers almost throughout my entire body in how amazing some scenes were. In an overall sense this anime is amazing. It is my favourite anime. It truly is a well thought out and interesting anime. (Not sure if this review was any good but hope it make you want to watch the anime or just enjoy the review for read sake.)

Well First off I'm not an amazing at this reviewing manga or anime thing yet so... I personally love Eyeshield 21. The story of Sena Kobayakawa wanting to be the best football player in Japan was ultimately interesting. The determination that he and the other players showed gave goose bumps and gave me shivers. The Art by Yusuke Murata was amazing. Only that quality could be expect from my favourite manga artist. He knows what he's doing. You could feel the emotion pouring off of the page You felt what the characters feel and more. It was so well done. The poses the character ... and everything was beast. You could tell a character was a beast by just how they looked. The way he depicted presence of a person was awesomely done. The character were fun and epic. You just couldn't help but respect everyone if them. They wor so hard to get to where they are. I felt for the characters. I love that when you feel for a character in a manga. My enjoyment for this manga was over 9000. Out of every manga I have ever read I enjoyed Eyeshield 21 the most. I don't know why that s but that is what it is. I am so glad I came across Eyeshield 21 and I hope anyone who has not read the manga yet and is reading this review, that you read it right now. Enjoy.

I love this anime to death I give it a 9.5/10 even though i gave it a 8 overall. I did that mathematically. This anime is what anime should be. An amazing soundtrack by far.Maybe the best I have heard. Who am I kidding it is the best. The story was absolutely captivating and is full of awesome Cliff hanger, awesome fight scene and interesting dialogue and story. The art was so good in the anime. I loved the way they made the line art oddly thick. So people hated it but i found it new and refreshing. The character I have to admit not ... matter how much I love this anime they were nothing special really. They didn't have a lot of development but for this anime I don't think it really matter. It would be more effective for when people die but in an anime like this it is difficult to do so. For enjoyment sake I loved this anime as I said and it is now at this point my favourite anime. This anime has to be easy the best anime of 2013. Nothing could ever touch it. Well that is my first ever review on this site. If you like it don't be afraid to add me as a friend.
