I personally rated this anime a 8 because the story is good. The art and soundtrack aren't great but they do quite well when combined with the storyline. Character development moved a bit quickly but it was good, you get to learn more about the actual storyline and the problems facing the characters than the characters themselves. This isn't a masterpiece you'll rewatch over and over like other movies but it certainly a gem in the rough. This requires you to piece things together if you haven't read the manga and its partly worth it since they mention serious issues while having an interesting storyline. ... If you don't mind watching something involving government, patriarchy and where you have to piece things together then this is for you.
