Hentai logic: So this female knight, strong as HELL-- beheads these ogres with just a single sword swoosh, not even breaking a sweat. I repeat SHLINK, SWOOSH, dead. No effort.
Go to a scene later on where she's overpowered by a lone, old, elderly, weak-looking man half her size. What the actual...

Did the full chub just give him super strength or something? Power of the full chub? I call bullsh** sir.

It's details like these that just ruin my anime viewing enjoyment. I spent half the time rolling my eyes at the absurd logic at play here.

And if you're like me in that aspect, I surely hope ...

For myself this was the first ever romance anime I watched with asexual relationships and people.
I really like how some of the different aspects of asexuality and aromantic characters were presented-- obviously being crammed into 30 minute slots, there were some things lacking in comparison with the story's manga counterpart. And that's because the story is pretty cerebral, lots of internal thought processes and monologue going on, but for myself that's where the beauty lies in Yagate Kimi ni Naru. We get to see everyone's inner world, the way their minds have shaped the reality around them.

And obviously not everyone would consider this enjoyable. I ...

Going in expecting nothing groundbreaking-- I honestly appreciate the refreshing simplicity and absurd humor Jingai san no Yome has to offer.

This is one of those shows that are incredibly short, not meant to make logical sense, and work as a brief piece of simple, lighthearted entertainment. Perfect if you don't have 30 minutes to spare, but still want some light entertainment. Perfect if you don't have much mental energy to spare and are looking for just that little pick up to refresh and recharge your spirit.

Cute art, cute boys, cute creatures. Funny fetishes, funny pairings and lightheartedness. This is not an anime for overthinking, ...

Honestly I was disappointed. The premise was intriguing, the art was both pleasant and consistent, and the singing performances were truly dynamic; but the way everything played out storywise just didn't do the voices or the art justice to me. One dimensional characters, frustrating plot holes, breakneck scene pacing-- every week I kept watching just to see if any of these would improve and they just didn't. For these reasons I don't personally see this anime as worth watching.

Some problems I had in detail.
Clearly Hu Li and his entire family were dealing with some very lasting damage from a traumatic event-- and it never goes ...

A simple-minded comedy with outrageous punchlines. That opening gets me every time. "Lalalalala, laaaa, nnnyaaaaah~"

This girl has a boyfriend with a pretty face and literally the brain of an 8 year old. Apparently it's to make her classmates jealous and to look good to everyone-- you're not gonna NOT have one right? It's unTHINKABLE, the horror~!

I saw this show point out different ways people can behave stupidly, and do idiotic things.
Whether you're intellectually challenged, culturally insensitive, air-headed, judgmental, or just weak to peer pressure and care too much about the opinions of other people. Different roles played, flavors of idiocy presented.

Puppy-like middle schooler's father remarries and he gets a cute cinnamon roll-like older stepsister who just wants to cuddle him like a puppy.

And, that's pretty much all the plot one can comfortably fit into 3 minutes per episode.

Animation is attractive, with a short plot and cute character interactions. I wasn't as impacted by the ending song as I typically prefer after a show. It felt more like just a complimentary afterthought.

Still, it is rather pleasant to enjoy a change of pace like this once every so often. Enjoyment gets 10 out of 10 from me.

Short, sweet series gets a short, sweet review.

Preliminary (2/4 eps)
Attractive art, mutual consent and decent sound effects. Wacky new school rules all of a sudden: self-study sex ed. Students having sex in the classroom with each other to achieve academic excellence.

Of COURSE the story and character development is low-- it's clearly not what anybody's watching it for. Fair enough. Short, sweet and to-the-point series with three main characters.

A little amusing that the main male character gets drawn with THE most glassy eyes I have ever seen on a hetero hentai. Aand they disappear halfway through the sex. Sigh.

Did I mention female invitation and two-sided consent? It's worth mentioning again that a plot like this ...

You enjoyed Diabolik Lovers and thought, "Darn if only they had a kink obsession with Yui's BUTT."

Or you were a fan of Sir Mix a Lot and thought "Hey it would be cool if he were actually a vampire."

HIS ANA, CONDA DON'T. I saw this a year ago, and kind of laughed my ass off when I found out that in this universe, vampires get their energy from butt stuff instead of blood, I thought that was SUPER ridiculous. So enjoyment gets 10 out of 10 for making me laugh.

Story is fair enough, it's just about the anal kink, and a vampire aristocrat getting his ...

WARNING- GORE TORTURE warning. Yes that's correct, I'm warning you that I'm about to warn you of gore and torture.

I had heard this anime had a pretty interesting plot and the sounds were downright amazing. I also heard it was a step down from Bible Black in intensity and torture. Five minutes into episode 1 a woman gets stabbed in the cl** with a freaking metal pen. She falls over and the pen is covered in blood. I can NOT. And if you're like me then hopefully this review is helpful.

I got to hear some surprisingly high quality bj sounds, an attractive woman with a ...
