Concept of stones is somewhat, only somewhat similar, the making and breaking of friendships, the hardships of one's fate. Concept overall is similar. Both are anime that show that happy times then take it all away. If you like one, you'd definitely like the other. Both are really good anime

Plot is different, sure. But characters are quite similar. Toono = Yuki, Nao = Tohru, Sawamura = Momiji and Shirakawa is like Shigure.

The characters just remind me sooo much of Fruits Basket. Kiyo = Tohru Kuroboshi = Kyo and Alsh = Ayame. Not just the characters but the story as well. A girl moves in with mysterious people, this time it's vampires and Kiyo decides to help everyone as much as she can. See the similarities?

Both Sera and Tohru are sweet and innocent. They both move in and live with a group of boys. They both change these boys and there a few love traingles. Kyo is like Ram oppa and Han makes me think of Momiji!!!

While I was reading Pixie Pop, Ouran Host Club always popped into my mind. Both stories are about love and its troubles. If you don't get, read Ouran than Pixie Pop and maybe you'll see what I mean ;)

Both manga are mostly episodic and are about someone choosing whether to take revenge on someone they hate or not.
