I'm so one of the people who love Umineko. So if you ask what it is, then I can tell you that it's the most AMAZING BREATH-TAKING THING EVER. Ahem, sorry about that unobjective opinion of mine.
But if you really aren't familiar with the series, then because I'm so lazy to type, look at the wikipedia page :D

The visual novel of course is the best choise when getting into Umineko. The anime adaptation is good too imo, but pales when compared to the original version. The manga adaptation is really good though imo.

But aren't the unique stories usually the best ones? xD
Oh, and also I remembered a really nice one-shot called Island. It's good because it has a plot twist *^*

They are Lion Ushiromiya and Willard H. Wright from Umineko no Naku Koro Ni, they are characters who appeared in the episode 7 of the Visual Novel. And yess they are adorable *^* One of my latest obsessions. <3

Ugh, seems like school is the same to everyone. I hate research projects and I have one coming up soon as well. So I can feel your pain. And my huge hate for chemistry and physic it's just...unreal. Though my chem teacher is also my homeroom teacher, and sometimes when she is in a good mood we don't really do anything in the lessons but when she is in a bad mood, we study and get a lot of horrible homework. D:
