It's doesn't matter how the sound is, or the quality is in an anime. What matters is how the anime impacted on the viewers. How it leaves an impression for its viewers. And how it leaves the mind lingering in a positive way.
Now this anime is what I would call, simple and different. But to summarize altogether on what this show would be, is that it's ordinary.
No spoilers as always from yours truly.
Overall:
Honest to say guys, I like it. It's one of my favorites. But that's just me. The story goes by somewhat fast when your laughing. I do like the fact that
...
it's ordinary. Sure there might be some romance then and their, but it's pretty much what it is. A Slice-of-life. Though most viewers might focus more on romance. I'd suggest giving Tamako Market a chance for it's ordinary-ness. Because it's pretty funny. I also heard that there will be a second season. So there might be more to it then what it already is.
Summary(shorter):
Tamako Kitashirakawa, the eldest daughter of a family who runs a mochi shop in the Usagiyama Shopping District. One day Tamako encounters a talking bird named Dera Mochimazzwi(Which sounds similar to mochi mazui(bad tasting mochi))who comes from a distant land looking for a bride for his prince. His plan soons to backfire as he gets fatter as time goes by. Tamako market follows the everyday life of her friends, family and neighbors, and the bird, Dera.
Main Characters(In-depth)
Tamako Kitashirakawa, the protagonist in the series. She's a first year high school whose in the baton club with her friends Kanna and Midori. She helps her family run the shop everyday and invents new kinds of mochi. Her birthday is usually forgotten because it's on New Year's Eve, which is the busiest time of the year. She's very slow on catching up on things, particularly it regards with peoples feelings. She feeds Dera on regular basis, which makes him bloated and harder for him to fly properly.
Dera Mochimazzwi, a noble attendant for the royal court, and a freeloader at Tamako's Mochi shop. During his journey to find a bride for his prince, he got fat in the process and has to postpone his journey. He can only manage to fly short distances before he runs out of breath. He is though rather knowledgeable in love and sometimes gives advice to Mochizo and Midori. He's always full of himself and that leads him to misunderstandings. Anyone that sneezes in his direction would be considered a confession of love towards him. His body also contains a communication system.
Midori Tokiwa, Tamako's classmate and childhood friend, and the captain of the baton club. Her grandparents own a toy shop in the same district as Tamako's. She is always worried on what people thinks of her, and what is expected of her. Which leads her to frustration. She later comes to terms that she has a feeling for "someone"
Kanna Makino, same year as her friends, also a member of there club. She is a daughter of a carpenter who works in the same district as Tamako. She's a very relaxed laid back girl, and does not care what anyone else thinks. But she has a fear of heights, and is apparently allergic to birds. Kanna is usually portrayed as an eccentric girl, and always has a straight and emotionless face. Despite being a good friend.
Mochizo Oji, Tamako's childhood friend whose family also runs a Mochi shop, which is right across from Tamako's Mochi shop. He's been in love with her for a few years, and gets nervous when he speaks in public. He always ask what Tamako is doing through her little sister, Anko Kitashirakawa
Opinion:
Honest to say the characters is pretty much bland and stays the same. Pretty much as I typed earlier "Ordinary". A very dense heroine instead of a hero. Like any Slice-of-life out there. Nothing really stands out but the fact that she's just plainly clueless. Even though there are some character developments. It doesn't show a big outcome. Though that's just herself, her friends doesn't even have much of character development later. All they do is provide friendship in her life. As for Tamako's childhood friend, Mochizou. He does show some promises, but still shows some weak progression like every other character. But I would like to point out that the series doesn't focus on romance, so don't expect too much.
Dera I would say is very funny. But maybe that's just me. He could either make you mad, or make you laugh. But he has way more screen time than any other characters in the story, which is the downside. It could've been used to give other characters more progression. What I did like about him though is that he gives more personality to the show than any other character. He's probably the only character that's not bland. Dera will definitely leave you a good impression in the series.
Anko doesn't seem to receive much either. She pops out then and there, but is usually not there with everyone else. She does get a little bit of an innocent romance in the series, which is pretty cute. Her character development is well done though, not as bland as the others. It's just sucks that she doesn't get as much screen time as the rest.

It is what it is guys. I cannot say much any further. Honestly what'd you expect from this anime, is what you are going to expect. BUT, It's really funny. It's so funny that it is worth watching. Not all the characters are funny, and you can expect the sweet love and harem from this. But it's something that gets you laughing,
...
and gives you that feeling inside. I do like the outcome though. I won't say any spoilers.
Summary:
Eita Kido, a bookworm that aims to attend a medical school. He'd do anything. He'd even shun anything that has to do with romance and love. Masuzu Natsukawa, foreign and popular with guys. Who just happens to return from another country and was assigned a seat next to Kido. After a few days, Masuzu confessed to him in class, and blackmailed him after school on becoming her "fake" boyfriend so guys would stop asking her out. As time goes by for these two. Love only comes to one person.
Characters:
Eita Kido, your main character. The smart guy that places at the top of school exams. Even though he's smart. He has these delusions and fantasies of addressing himself as "Burning Fighting Fire". A guy who win girls hearts, and battle monsters. After his childhood friend, Chiwa Harusaki's accident. He has to abandon his delusions. But his delusions still come out when things get too emotional. Oh, and obviously he cares for others and he's a nice guy. But you should expect that.
Chiwa Harusaki, childhood friend of Eita Kido. Also, a tomboy type. She used to be in the Kendo Club when she was little. Due to an injury from a car accident before high school, she has to quit. She's the closest one to Eita, out of all the other girls. Because she lives next to him, and loves Eita. It's a harem, just wanted to point it out their.
Masuzu Natsukawa, Eita's "girlfriend". Spent most of her times overseas, and is considered the schools beauty. Confessed by many guys, and always shot them down. She used Eita's notebook, which has his "fantasies" to blackmail him. She might seem cruel, but truthfully she turns out to have a nice spot as the time goes by.
Himeka Akishino, she has a one-sided crush on him. She also has some "fantasies" and "delusions" just like Eita. Since she comes in later. I'm not going to say much about her.
Ai Fuyuumi, to be blunt. She's Eita's "fiancee". She does come in late in the series. But she's really funny.
Kaoru Asoi, Eita's classmate and best friend. Who sat close to him until the seat change. I'll say this much, that I was surprised.
Overall
It's honestly one of the best anime I've seen that can keep my face smiling the whole time. I laughed a lot too. It's a simple Harem, romcom type deal. But it balances out. I would recommend it, and actually re-watch it with one of my friends. It's that funny guys, give it a shot.

I hope my review will pique your interest. I won't say any spoilers.
Your common romcom, as so I thought. There is a love triangle involved, but it didn't seem like it focused much on the love. After a few episode, it seems like your common love triangle. But you know what? It's a very good romcom. I thought why stop halfway, so I
...
finished it. If you watch a few episodes in the series, you already know who the it is, and that's as common as it gets honestly. But the point was it surprised me so much. I didn't expect any of this to happen. The twist and turn of events made it really, really, really enjoyable.
Summary(little more in-depth):
Yoto Yokodera, your normal pervert. Who has a problem of not showing his real emotions. Hearing the big change and rumor of the " stony cat " from his equally perverted best friend. He went to see if the rumors were true. On his way, he met Tsukiko Tsusukakushi. She wanted to be more of an adult and wanted the opposite of what Yokodera wanted. The wish can remove a personality trait from someone that doesn't want it. and gives that trait to someone who needs it. Thus Yokodera found the person who has his trait. Azusa Azuki, the most attractive girl that every boy confesses to. Through the adventures of the love triangle comes of only wishes from the "stony cat"
Characters:
Yoko Yokodera, the main protagonist. You already know. He's your pervert who actually meant more than what he portrays. He cannot express himself truly because his kind of actions are always misunderstood. As it said in the summary he made a wish to the "stony cat" but in exchange for that wish, he offered his belt. But realizes soon after that his inner thoughts causes too much problems, because he can't conceal his perverted thoughts. Though his inner thoughts can also be a sweet trait.
Tsukiko Tsutsukakushi, which is Tsukushi Tsutsukakushi younger sister. Who happens to be Yokodera's track and field club president. Her wish to the "stony cat" was to not show her emotions, because she was a crybaby to her sister. In return, she offered her meat bun. Being unable to express any emotions. She still enjoys time with Yokodera. Even though her emotions doesn't show. There is more to her then the wish she made.
Azusa Azuki, Popular, turned down all the boys that confessed there love for her. and is the one that has Yokodera's trait. So she can hide her emotions easily. How they met was through Yokodera's action in front of a large crowd. Though she might be your kind of popular girl. There are usually always something more to them in romcoms.
Tsukushi Tsutsukakushi, I just felt that I had to add her to this review. Since she does play a big part in the series. She's your president of the track and field club. Though she might seem like a despicable person. She actually means more than what you would think (She's pretty funny by the way).
Overall, I really like this anime. Like I said on my 2nd paragraph. It doesn't focus too much on the love triangle. I think it really shows that you have to understand each other as friends. What happens in the past stays in the past. You can't dwell in it forever, or change it. You just have to make it work in the present.

"Sigh, another romcom... Why not lets give it a shot." and was it the best shot I have ever gave. I never really watched romcom's. But this one definitely is one of the best ones i've seen. Not your typical kind, but it's amazing! definitely makes you more perceptive in life.
Their are quite a few characters that revolves around the three characters. But
...
I'll let you be the judge. Considering this is not your common romcom. It's definitely a great anime in it's own unique way that strays from the common expectant ones.
Summary:
This somewhat, not exactly your daily romcom revolves around an antisocial high school student named Hikigaya Hachiman. A teacher forces Hachiman to join the volunteer service club, which happens to have the school's prettiest girl, Yukinoshita Yukino. Through the series is a spurs of moment, and an intellectual conversation/bickering and sarcasm between Hachiman, and Yukino. Those spurs of moment would mainly be Yui Yuigahama. It would seem like your common romcom, and it's not. But bear with me. It's very much worth it. The clubs activities are to solve people's problems. The problems are simple. But they take it more in depth.
Characters:
Hachiman Hikigaya, the story's main protagonist. Friendless, isolated, and yet is at fault and pushed away from society. He believes that youth is a creation by hypocrites. He joined the service club, because of his adviser. Her ultimate goal/hope is that his exposure to the world would change him to become a better person. What Hachiman, himself believe is that he is insignificant, if anything, a nobody. Which means that whatever makes people happy. He is willing to take the blame for it, no matter what people thinks of him. Though his action does give the best results.
Yukino Yukinoshita, the leader of the service club and the only member of the club. Until Hachiman was forcibly put into the club. She's your beautiful, smart, rich kind of girl. She's also envied by most girls, and is disgusted by the fact that they admire her instead of improving themselves. Her personality usually leads her to be disgusted by many. In ways, she is kind of like Hachiman. She still doesn't recognize him as a friend, but more of an acquaintance.
Yui Yuigahama, she's in the same class as Hachiman. Yui is your common cheerful kind of girl who's problem lie with her inability to express herself because of her fear of losing friends, Her personality just covers it. She greatly admires Yukino and Hachiman because they are able to express their true feelings with no problem, and is disirous to be like others. Until Yukino changed her, which is a good thing. She is formerly a member of Hayato's clique but has no say in anything whatsoever because Yumiko overwhelms her.
Though most anime's do play a role of friendship. I'd say Yahari Ore no Seishun plays a big role in friendship. Since it really is all about understanding each other, and oneself. You need friends to point out your flaws, to improve yourself and to better understand each other as friends. Overall I love this anime. I definitely recommend it to everyone. I thought it would be those common romcom anime's, and it turns out to be way more than that.

I remember hearing my friend telling me I should watch this anime, and you know what? I couldn't care less. Just because I've got a lot of other things I had to do. Just after a month or so, I remember something about titans. So I looked it up and remembered this was the anime he was talking about. So I
...
thought. Why not? I watched the first episode AND MANNNNN WAS IT AWESOME. I watched episode 1 to 10 in one night. I was suppose to study for my midterm, and end up watching it in ONE NIGHT. I was tempted to read the comments because it had spoilers. But I suggest you don't do that. Because it will ruin it for you guys. So I will hope to pique your interest by writing down my reviews, and reaction so far. No spoilers of course.
Basically Shingeki no Kyojin follows the story of Eren Jaeger, His adopted sister Mikasa Ackerman, and their Friend Armin Arlart. The Titans have forced humanity to retreat into their system of concrete walls. Maintaining 100 years of peace. One day a gigantic 60 meter titan attacked the walls. Forcing mankind to abandon their land. Leading them closer to the center.
Eren Jaegar, witness his mothers death on that day and vows revenge against the Titans and later enlists in the military, followed by his 2 friends. His thoughts always comes out of his mouth, and sometimes that leads to trouble.
Mikasa Ackerman, his adopted sister that thinks of Eren Jaegar as someone she would protect, and die for. Even Eren's parents see him as reckless person. So Mikasa always looks out for him.
Armin Alart, really smart kid and also a coward. He is always protected and saved by Eren, and Mikasa. Always thinking of himself as someone who is weak and being a burden to his two friends. He enlist in the military because of that reason, and when push comes to shove. He can do more than what you would think.
So far this anime is amazing, and I'm about to read the manga. I would suggest watching it first because it gets you pumped. Well... It got me pumped. So therefore I will have to read it since I can't wait. I'm even tempted to cosplay. You won't regret watching this guys. It's amazing.

It's doesn't matter how the sound is, or the quality is in an anime. What matters is how the anime impacted on the viewers. How it leaves an impression for its viewers. And how it leaves the mind lingering in a positive way.
For anyone who is thinking about watching Hyouka. I won't say any spoilers. I hope my review will pique your interest on watching this anime.
Seems pretty common right? 2 guys and 2 girls. Nothing wrong with that. You already know what's going to happen. But that is just only a part of the show. They solve mysteries. YESS Mysteries. Not the boring
...
kind where someone dies and you have to find the culprit. This mystery kind of anime happens to be simple in its own way. It mainly revolves around the school, and other places as well.
The 4 friends join together in a club for their own reason, and it turns out, 3 characters has their own knack for playing a role in solving mysteries.
Oreki Houtarou happens to have the brains to solve mysteries, and joined the classics club because of a request from his siste. Houtarou, himself just goes through life because he's lazy at everything he does. Turns out there is more to high school then he thought. As time goes by, he will soon find out that there are things he doesn't realize himself.
Fukube Satoshi, the "Date Base". Satoshi is a friend that somehow understands Houtarou more than Houtarou does himself, that goes for Houtarou's sister. He was friends with Houtarou and Mayaka since middle school. And is also the guy that is the brightest out of everyone. Though he is always a happy go person. There are things in life he just can't do.
Chitanda Eru, the one that will not let Houtarou get away from a mystery when something interests her. She became friends with the 3 of them because of the classics club. There is more to her than what you would think.
Ibara Mayaka, friends with Houtarou since Elementary, and Satoshi since middle school, She joined primarily due to Satoshi being a member. She also has a crush on Satoshi since middle school. Satoshi usually just brush her feelings aside with a joke. But what she is oblivious too is that Satoshi reciprocates her feelings and that makes him hesitant to act upon. Due to that she restrains her emotion.
The simplicity of the mystery is what you would sometimes find in your daily lives. What do you do if there was a mystery? You would try to find out why that happen or how that happened right? and sometimes we just give up and wait for the answers. Hyouka won't let you down. It will even get you to solve the mystery with them.
Though it's not all about mystery. Each friends have something in there past that makes them who they are. Houtarou himself is just someone who doesn't understand himself. Just going through life until something in his life will change.
I would say relationship plays a big role in Hyouka. Since you need others to better understand ones self. You may think you would understand yourself the most. But there are things that you yourself won't realize it until someone points it out to you.
All in all. I love this anime. I even bought the set. It has a great opening and ending. I already knew once I saw the opening that it was going to be good. It's not common to watch an anime like this. I hope you guys will watch it, cause I know I'll definitely re-watch it with one of my friends.

I've already finished this series, and the last 4 as well. I would like to post my review on the 1st 13 episodes. Since Kokoro Connect really made my day. And I want to share it with everyone who are thinking about watching this truly amazing anime.
There are so many things I can say about this anime. But to be on the safe side I won't say any spoilers to first time watchers. I would rather want them to watch it themselves to see how great this anime really is. You guys should already know the Plot of the story. But I would
...
like to give you guys my outlook and impression on how Kokoro Connect left for me.
The reason I made this account is because of this anime "Kokoro Connect". I've seen a lot of anime, enough that I understand that it's pretty redundant, and repetitive how most animes are. But, hey it's not my kind of preference. I'm not picky. I enjoy all anime, even though it's not my taste. I'll always give it a chance.
I gave this anime all 10. Not just because it's perfect in every way, no anime is perfect. It's doesn't matter how the sound, or quality it's in. What matters is how the anime gave you that "feeling" in the end. How it impacted on the audience, how it will end with a strong impact that leaves your mind lingering. Any anime that does that to me is what I consider an amazing anime, and this anime is the perfect example of that. Kokoro Connect.
Kokoro Connect definitely succeeded it's purpose on expressing my emotions. The impression it gave made me view life in a different aspect. It taught, and gave me a realization that this is how humans are. We're powerless. Even when we try to settle things all by ourselves. We will always need someone in our lives to help us at one point. Life just works that way. This. Is. How. We. Are... No one can live all by themselves. We will always strive for love and comfort. These are human instincts. Hardships will always come. But everyone will always get through it. Just when you are about to break. Your friends will always be their to help you up, and that would be one of the great aspects of Kokoro Connect.
This had to be one of the strongest point this anime has shown me, Inspiration. It inspired me to become a better person! and obviously changed my perspective on how life is! If it doesn't with you? well... I doubt it. I wouldn't say this is the grand of grands of all animes. But I think any anime should strive to become like Kokoro Connect An anime that encourages oneself in a more positive way. All an all it's rare to watch any anime that are like this. Veryyyy rare. I highly recommend it! it'll definitely will be in my memories forever. I'll never forget it.
