I've not been watching anime for a very long time, but my wife is the one who has introduced it to me. I really enjoy the casual, relaxed, slice of life shows (like sketchbook, lovely complex, minami-ke). I also like asian movies, my favorite would be a Japanese film called Kame wa igai to hayaku oyogu or Turtles Swim Faster Than Expected.
