Read that manga man. Read it! The anime, I haven't watched it but I've heard about it. It sucks in comparison to the manga, seriously. It changes a lot of small things, a lot of big things, and just plain ends differently from the manga.
School started about 3 weeks ago for me. I love college! It's soooo much easier than high school! XD
Yeah, I cheered when I read that Brynhildr was being animated. I just hope they don't screw it up like they did with Elfen Lied. (Elfen Lied has the same mangaka)
You should give Gundam Wing or Gundam 00 a shot. Both are pretty good. (Gundam Seed before those two, if you don't mind the main character in Seed)

Lately I've started to watch the original Gundam. I got tired of not understanding all the Universal Century Gundam references in Hayate no Gotoku!.
I've also started to read more manga! After a friend suggested Kiwaguro no Brynhildr to me, and I ended up absolutely loving it, I decided I needed to start reading this awesome thing.
Index never really gets better, but I still like Touma in the novels. And I never liked Accelerator much, guess I am the odd one here, since most people like him.
I don't think Railgun goes further than Index II. I don't think it even gets past Index I really. BTW, there's going to be a new spinoff manga called Toaru Kagaku no Accelerator. No joke.
I guess it kinda was, but I felt that it was better than just having poor Yuki sitting there for another 10000 years.
They probably have it in German. Its a pretty popular light novel series, so they should have it in at least 5 languages at bala tsuki. Just check it out. That's all I'm saying.
JC staff... Their original works aren't bad, but their adaptations aren't good. They tend to ignore source material, and do anime original endings filler arcs, etc. Then there's the case with actual adaptation, just look at index, then the light novels. The characters aren't portrayed very well.
Railgun S was so amazing because it was a faithful adaptation with good characterization. People who hated Touma in index suddenly liked him. Then, filler arc. XD
Mirai Nikki's ending is pretty good. If you're interested, the anime is pretty good, and the ova with the final chapter from the manga just got translated today. Good timing.

Index isn't very good because JC Staff does Index. And, you know, JC Staff. If you want the Index series good, read the Light Novels on Baka Tsuki. There isn't an english version (or any language but Japanese) that you can buy, unless you can read Japanese, which I take it you can't since you haven't played Ecstasy.
I guess we're a bit different in that way, since I can usually keep on watching plot driven anime one after the other.

I'm a Nasuverse fanboy, so I can totally get that. As an otaku though, you have to teach your heart to recover fast. Otherwise you're wasting time you could be watching anime, lol. Case in point, I finished Rewrite a few weeks ago, started to watch anime right back. Then I was playing Shuffle within the next 3 days. And Rewrite was quite the wild ride.

No, I've been meaning to play LB, but school starts on Monday, so I wanted to get rid of all my backlog so I could go in without much distraction. Hasn't been working so great for me so far.
I started on Hoshizora no Memoria instead. It's considerably shorter, so I felt it could satisfy my need for a VN and still allow me to finish my backlog. (Which, once again, is not going so well. XD)
I've read up to the latest chapter. If I don't have it listed on my manga list it's because it's hard for me to keep up with all the manga chapters I read. I mean, one manga chapter = 5 minutes or so, so I go through em fast. Harder to mark every single chapter read there than every 24 minute episode you know?
As for SnK, after episode 5, I think, of the anime, I couldn't stand the cliffhangers anymore, lol. So, I read all of it. It was really something, and it seems it's going to take a while to end. If I had to say, maybe the manga seems to be 1/3 over? Somewhere between 1/3 and 1/2 I guess.

The art is really the thing that could use the most work in the manga (which makes the animation complaints for the anime seem like they're planned out actually).
Well, it's because due to I have many haters here on MAL(Even they didn't express it to me directly, I can still sense it), the possibility of receiving hate messages is also very high so before that happens, I disable receiving messages. :D
As to your question about Riki staying by Rin's side taken into consideration in Sasami's route, no.
And it's fine about what you said that Sasami's route isn't in the original story because it's kinda true. Well, I've seen a worse person that acts he knows everything even the EX routes but actually he haven't played those.
About if Kurugaya really confessed to Riki in the real world, considering the nature of Kurugaya's True End and where is it set, the possibility that she confessed to Riki is very high but it still remains unknown about Riki's answer.
About the last question, yes I already played the EX routes. You can see there my ratings for all routes including the EX routes on my "About me". And yes, I played them in Japanese but no, I can't read them. It's just I can easily understand on what's going on by understanding their voices and their voice tones, their facial expressions, the mood, etc. While Sasami's and Saya's routes have lots of events, Kanata's route has more on information so Kanata's route is the EX route that I could barely understand.

About the wall of text(Woah) and Riki ending up with Rin, for me, I really think that's a "bonus" due to you need to replay Refrain in order to get Rin romantically. And honestly, I think Riki promised to Rin that he'll protect her/staying by her side is at the 2nd run of Refrain, right(I kinda forgot Refrain)?
About Kurugaya confessing to Riki, yes it may indeed possible that Riki rejects Kurugaya but who knows since her True End left us hanging... :|
About if it's really possible that Riki may end up with Sasami, well, you'll know how if you play her route since her route is mostly about the chemistry between Riki and Sasami. :D
Also, it may be true that Sasami's route is not in the original story but it's the continuation to the original story.

What do you mean about extra scene with Rin in the "prologue"? I think you mean the "epilogue". And yeah I know, I dunno if you're asking how to reach that but you should just play Refrain for the 2nd time. :)
About the Kurugaya's True End, actually that's the most debatable about the romance ending of Little Busters whether Riki does really end up with Rin or he does end up with Kurugaya. For me, I think that's the real world but there's also another debate about Sasami's route because Sasami's route takes place after the events of Refrain.
