Interesting premise that promises a unique isekai story.
Ends up being typical and honestly- quite boring. I say this as an isekai fanatic; I love isekai, but the one thing I cannot stand is when the plot is the MC training continously with no development. The first 4 episode is the MC literally training and trying to level up while the plot moves an inch. Then he moves to another city, and now he has to clear a dungeon, and of course he does (with more training and small improvements). It's literally like watching someone play a video game. I'm here to watch an anime, not
...
watch someone play a game. It's funny cause the anime tries to reference itself that it is indeed not a video game, but that 4th wall breaking did nothing but made me scoff even more. The training arc(s) makes no sense either. MC repeatedly gets his butt kicked, yet he is the only one in the world who has cleared the dungeon, which holds some of the strongest monsters. Yet he can't even beat a simple starting adventurer. Talk about inconsistency.
Is there anything good about this anime? There is actually- the goddamn story that the anime should've been concentrating on instead of watching the wimpy ass hero cry and train all the time. The story itself is actually super interesting. Healers have become corrput and are charging crazy amount of money for their services- in some instances if payment isn't ment then the patients become slaves. There's hints herre and there about the world which it works. Those parts are good. Then the anime goes right back to the MC like...doing boring stuff. If the anime had actually concentrated on the premise like the show described, I guarantee many fans would love it more. I mean, seriously that is an awesome story line. But instead every episode we get 15 minutes of the MC getting his butt kicked during training, then not learning absolutley nothing- then repeat again next episode, aaanddd continue the cycle until the finale.
Speaking of MC, how is he? I started off liking him. He is a total wimp. But I'm okay with that. I like alot of wimpy MC's. Deku from MHA is awesome. I loved Kaneki in Tokyo Ghoul (seaosn 1 at least). But Luciel? He's wimpy, a cry baby, and well- that's pretty much his entire character. His motivation is all over the place. Money, girls, a place to live? Who knows. Sometimes it's everything. Sometimes it's nothing. The thing about wimps is that there needs to be a pay off. Like, there needs to be growth. There is no growth with Luciel. So to sum up- Luciel isn't bad- he's just super duper boring. How are the side characters? Forgetable. Not a single one stands out. They're all cardboard cut outs of every single side anime characters you've encountered before. The interactions are as basic as they come. That said- that's the least of this show's problem. The side characters do a solid job over all, even if I don't remember a single of their names. It's the lack of story that really brings down this show.
So should you watch this anime? I would say pass. I wanted to quit by episode 4 or 5, but at that point I had already invested too much time, so I had to see it through to see if there was any pay off in the end. And the answer is no.

2nd season is alright. It's not as good as the first, but it's not terrible. It's mediocre. It's whelming. It's okay.
The goods? They pack a lot of story lines into the season. I'm honestly impressed by how much material was used. Was it rush? Oh yeah, definitely. But still enjoyable. You have to understand that in a 12 episode season, there isn't really time to develop plots so prepare for a lot of convenients and expositions. Still, the storyline is very interesting, especially towards the finale. Another positive is of course, the main reason most of us watch the show- the women. No shortage of
...
fan service in this show. All the girls are pretty and cute. Many waifus if that's your style.
The bad? Unfortunately the MC is a dumbass. Okay, to be fair I did like him the first season because he was different from your typical MC. I thought his gimmick of wanting to always be in the shadow was hilarious, but that now that card as long played its part. Now it's just lame and embarrassing. There's really no character development for good 'ol Cid. He's still a borderline retarded teenager who is as clueless as they come. Like I said, it was funny and endearing the first 5 episode of season 1, but now it's getting ridiculous. In fact, the fact Cid still thinks Shadow Garden is fake and there's no Cult of Diablos is honestly ridiculous and so stupid that I refuse to believe Cid is that dumb. Or maybe he is- who knows. I honestly think if the show didn't try so hard to make Cid be an incompetent nincompoop that the show would be 5x better. I really do like the storyline but to have Cid be so dumb yet things always work out for him for comedic effect is....well it gets tiresome after the 3rd time (again in the first season). Another complaint is that for some reason the author really like Rose, who is easily the worst of all the female leads. She is so boring. So many interesting girls to choose from, and he happens to shine the light on the least interesting one.
Okay so despite that- why do I still rate it a 7? Because if you can ignore Cid being a dumbass and Rose being annoying, the show is actually pretty decent. The action is good. The animation is solid, especially when the girls are on screen. If your mind can selectively choose to ignore the two problems I mentioned, I think you'll enjoy this anime too, kind of- maybe. If anything, this show answers the age old question of what happens when a mental kid is isekaid with OP powers.

This show is easily one of the most underrated anime of all time. It really is damn good. I think a lot of folks write it off early because it's isekai and with a harem theme (two of my favs to be fair), but that aside- it is extremely well executed and is unique enough to be its own.
The short premise of the show is that Haryushi Kuga is the most powerful and OP mofo ever, and he is reincarnated into this world as Seika. Luckily, nearly all his abilities/magic carry through to this world too, so yeah he is an absolute badass. But he's
...
also trying to not meet the same fate as his old life- so he tries to enjoy the mundane life as much as possible without showing off his powers. He does this by manipulating people and events so he doesn't stand out. Some of it is pretty clever. However, Seika being Seika- and that he's simply too kind of a person, as the story progresses it gets tougher and tougher to really hide who he is.
Speaking of the plot, it is amazing. First of all, the show does an great job at pacing. The plot unveils itself and the more you learn, the more you want to know. Seika and his friends are....special, but that's to say the last. There is a twist in the show that I absolutely love and why it got ranked so high. I love these types of unexpected events, so yeah- the plot is really good.
The star and reason the show is so good is of course Seika. He's not your generic average run of the mill isekai MC. No. This dude is his own man. He is experienced and cunning. He is powerful. Yet he is kind and generous. He wants to protect the people he cares about. The show does a great job showing Seika's inner conflict of what he should- if he should reveal his true powers to the world or not. Oh and by the way- when Seika throws it, it is absolutely badass. This dude's magical abilities are god-like, I kid you not. I really enjoy him going ham on those deserving of it. How about the rest of the cast? They're okay. Most are forgetable, but at least they develop two of his harem girls- Yifa and Amyu. I actually really like them, especially Yifa. You get to see her resolves grow.
It really is a shame this anime never got a second season. I really want to know what happens next. The story is THAT good.
So do I recomment his anime? Hell yeah. Watch it. Love it. Thank me later.

Warning: MINOR SPOILER
Before you watch this anime, there are 2 criterias that you must meet in order to enjoy it. If not, it will easily be lower than a 6- and more along the lines of 5 or 4. If that's the case, I'd say move along as life is too short to enjoy something so mundane.
1. This anime is a neckbeard's perfect ideal story about revenge and isekai. A fatass loser gets bullied, and is down with his luck in life. But he's like, brave- kind of, but not really. Anyways, with no hard work whatsoever but pure luck, this fatass hits the isekai
...
lottery. NO, wait- he hits the genetic lottery, harem lottery, money lottery..basically everything. He magically gets skinny. Suddenly can make money. Suddenly woo's hicks left and right. Oh- and there's these 1 dimensional bullies stright from 1966, and Yuuya beast them all up and saves people, like 100 times a day. Basically, the message you must overcome as a viewer is- DON'T CHANGE YOUR LIFE AND CONTINUE TO BE A FATASS LOSER AND JUST HOPE THAT THERE'S A MAGICAL DOOR THAT WILL OPEN AND CHANGE YOUR ENTIRE LIFE BY GIFTING YOU POWER, MONEY, AND GIRLS. I'm not saying being fat is bad, but not accepting who you are or at least attempting to make life changes IS bad. Get a new job. Maybe change hobbies. Maybe try exercising, even something simple like going for a walk in the evening. This show basically states: don't accept your fatass self cause who the hell would want someone disgusting like you. If you can ovecome this message, which is delivered in the first episode, you're 1/2 to enjoying this anime.
2. You must like isekai and harem animes. Because I'm a degenerate, this is right up my ally. But my god what a awful and boring ass storyline. Okay, it's not BAD, but it's just so boring. I've seen more isekai/harem animes more than 99% of people on this Earth, I reckon. And this one ranks just barely average if I'm being nice.
Okay, so you've overcome those two hurdles. Hooray! NOW can you enjoy this anime? Probably. The plot still sucks. And the characters are absolutely awful.
So let's talk plot first- again, if you read the premise there isn't much I can add without spoiling too much. To be honest, I like the idea of there being a crossover between isekai and the real world. The idea of using a cheat code in the real world sounds awesome. Unfortunately, the author doesn't make Yuuya use his powers this way. Instead, Yuuya has to be this passive white knight in shining armor every episode and only saves people when he is pushed too far because you know, he's such a perfect person with no flaws whatsoever except that he was a fatass loser before. As someone once told me- you can't make diamonds without pressure. And there is no pressure at all for Yuuya. He is so basic and even has Matsouka voicing him. Aside from Yuuya being one of the boringiest MC ever to exist, the side characters aren't much better. Goddammit I'm a harem addict and I don't need much, but you got to give me SOMETHING. His harem chicks have absolutely no personalities at all. Even the tsunderes don't tsun! They just exist to like, stand next to Yuuya and to be rescued whenever the author feels the need to rub his white knight boner. The worst character is easily Lexia. This dumbass girl gets slaughters by some weakass goblins, then declares marriage to Yuuya (who of course saved her), then forgives an assassin who tries to kill her, then forgives her brother who tries MULTIPE times to kill her. I can't believe someone so naive is still alive. God awful way to write a character.
OKAY- so far so bad, so what IS good about this anime? Honestly, there's 2 things that saves it. The first is that the art style is absolutely FANTASTIC. Everyone is a goddamn perfect model. Tall, thin, muscular, amazing hair, and percfect teeth. When it comes to designing waifu appareances, this show has some real lookers. So the author can definitely draw. Noticed I said art style and not action though, because although this has the ACTION tag- the action are dogshit awful. Many skipped frames. Hardly anything is explained. It's the typical 5 year old boy takes action figures and just slams them together.
The second GOOD thing about this anime is that it caters well to it's harem and isekai storyling. If you want that and need nothing else like good plot, characters, development, pacing, etc., well this will hit the spot and only that spot just right.
So this was a longer review than I wanted to say. Should you watch this anime? Honestly, I have to say no because if I could redo history and not waste time watching it, I wouldn't. But it's not all bad so I don't entirely regret it. Ahh whatever. If you meet the two criterias, give it a chance. If not, skip it and go fishing instead.

Kaguya-Sama wa Kokurasetai is amazing as always. This time we only get 1 movie (or 4 episodes), but damn it was good.
The plot this time is basically the aftermath of the kiss that happened during the festival. Without spoiling, basically the two stubborn lovebirds have to figure each other's true self and feelings. I should warn you though- the way this plot begins starts may turn off a few. But stick with it please. Again, no spoilers, but Kaguya's "true self" is quite harsh, but the way the show actually uses that face as a legit leg to stand on and move the story forward
...
is amazing. They blend it in with Shirogane's insecurity to make one helluva ending that wraps things up perfectly. I really like that they concentrate almost exclusively on Shirogane and Kaguya this movie. Sucks the other characters get left out, but let's be honest- with limited time, we wanna see our lovebirds relationship develop!
I'm not gonna lie- I didn't expect the show to move the relationship so quick, but I'm glad it did. Like previous seasons, it does a great job tugging at the heart's string while making you laugh along the way. The interactions between characters are great as always. I've always appreciated how fluid the dialogue is in this series, and this movie is no exception.
As for animation, VA, and music- it's the same as previous seasons too, all which I give of course a 10/10.
So should you watch Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai: First kiss wa Owaranai? YES YES YES.

This anime is very solid, but under the right circumstances it can be even more enjoyable. I say that because this is one of the more laid back and chill shows out there. *WARNING* IF YOU TRY AND BINGE THIS ANIME, YOU WILL BE BORED OUT OF YOUR MIND. I watched basically one episode per day, usually before bed because it's relaxing. Under that type of atmosphere, I enjoyed it.
Plot is basically dude gets isekai, but his power is accessing online shopping in another world. Because they think he can't be useful, he starts his own journy. He's also an absurdley amazing chef, so he
...
buys a lot of otherworld food and makes kick ass meals. This draws in Fenfir, and he basically makes a contract with the legendary beast in exchange for feeding Fenfir yummy food. Aaaand they go on a journey.
So yeah, it's chillaxing. Not a lot of action. There is A LOT of cooking though- sometimes even comparable to Shokugeki no Soma the way they do it, which is hilarious. Mukouda (the MC), also makes a lot of friends along the way and even makes another contract with a slime (who as you can probably guess, gets very OP). The thing with this anime is that it's kind of cyclic. Mukouda and his familiars go to a new region, they kill (by they I mean Fenfir and Sui the slime) a bunch of animals/beasts, they then eat the animals, and repeat. Oh yeah they also join a guild because ya know, it's isekai and you always have to join a guild. Well two, to be exact. Mukouda is basically useless as a figher, but he makes a lot of money because his otherworldly ingredients are special in this iseka, plus Fenfir keeps killing these OP beasts, which are worth a lot. So he makes a lot of money unnecessarily.
How are the characters? Fenfir is pretty awesome. I love his design and his VA is amazing. I also like his personality. He doesn't BS around, that's for sure. Sui is so goddamn cute. I guarantee you will love it. As for Mukouda? He's alright. He's very timid and weak. The show barely gives him any character growth or depth. He does get an upgrade for his very weak magic abilities, but that's it. I mean, to be fair it's alright because like I said- this isn't a show about powers or ability. It's a very chill show.
So should you watch it? I'd say give it a chance. Go into it with a very particular mindset and you may enjoy it as much as me. If not, eh.

I went into this anime not expecting much. Another typical adventure, destroy the demon god/king yada yada yada...little did I know I would stumble upon....
ONE OF THE BEST ANIME OF ALL TIME!!!
OF ALL TIME!!!!!!
This show has it all. Action. Comedy. Mystery. Adventure. Beautiful waifus. A great and unique plot.
First of all, let's talk about the plot. As you've read from the summary already, I can't add much more without spoiling it. Adlet is chosen as one of the Six Braves- he and his comrades go to a temple to meet up to defeat the Demon God, but it turns out there's seven of them, so
...
they have to decide who the fake seventh Brave is. They suspect it's Adlet due to an unfortuante series of events, and the poor fellow has to go on the run all while thinking of a way to clear his accusation while exposing the seventh. The Fugitive meets Among Us, sprinkled with the amazing power of anime! The plot sounds simple, but it's the execution that is *CHEFS KISS*. The pacing is absolutely amazing. It will keep you on your toes the entire time. Proof? I finished this anime in a day! I couldn't wait to see how the next event unfolds. That is absolutely 100% GOD TIER of how to do a mystery anime. I will say, what may turn off some people and why it has a low rating is because the way the show starts- it kind of lulls the audience into a sense of false adventure and security. Like, wow what a tamed show...but keep at it. By episode 3 or 4, my god it gets so good. The way small information is revealed little by little each episode. How Adlet is able to piece information together. Then of course the grande reveal at the end- once again, CHEFS KISS. 10/10 Plot.
Now to the characters. Um let me just say, another 10/10! Adlet is without a shadow of a doubt, ONE OF THE BEST MC OF ALL TIME! Alright, I will admit- when you first meet him he's kind of cringe. Like, you can tell he's "different", but he spouts these shounen catch phrases, right? So you're like, wow what a cornball. But once you learn his story, his character, and his motives- he is absolutely amazing. What really makes him a great MC is that aside from his amazing traits is that they actually make him very vulnerable. His self-proclaimed "strongest man in the world" is indeed somewhat of a fascade. He's by enlarged, physically and magically (actually he has no magic abiltiy at all), the weakest of the Braves. He is average at best, as pointed out by his peers. You see him get stabbled. Punch. Bleed. Some instances, he could've easily been killed. But Adlet uses his ingeniunity. His intelligence. His cunning. His resources. The environment. The man is amazing. Freaking amazing. A+ MC. He's in the god tier ranks of Lelouch, Light, and Ayanokouji. Okay, so how about the supporting cast? Most of them are average except for one. Hans is the crazy, but dependable one. Chamo is the annoying stupid OP kid. Goldov is the moronic soldier boy who does whatever he's told. Nashetennia is the typical sweet princess who learns about the world. Maura (Mora?) is the overbearing mother-type. Then there's Flamie- I won't spoil it, but she is incredible. At first you see her and you're like, oh wow another cute kuudere- cool. But they actually give her personality way more depth. The way she eventually unlocks her emotions is so well written. She is obviously flawed too, which is what I really love.
Okay, I guess next is the animation and music. Animation is great as well. It is an older anime, so compared to todays standard- may not be all that, but I still enjoy it. I will say though, the character designs are absolutely amazing. Each character is unique and stands out. The music is solid. Nothing stands out though, but it does the job. Oh and the VA's are top tier as usual!
So this review is getting a little too long. Should you watch this anime? YES YES YES YES HELL YES! Watch it, love it, THANK ME LATER. This anime gets the ever elusive 10/10 score.

If you like action animes with swords, ninja's, and monsters- well, you'll definitely have to watch this anime!
So as the premise states- Gabimaru and a bunch of criminals have to go to an island to find the Elixer of Life so they can be pardon. Along with them, each is paired with an Executioner (basically a samurai) to keep the criminals in check. Why? Dunno, but I can only assume these Excecutioners are death seeking weirdos cause why the hell would you ever volunteer for such an obvious death trap. Anyways, once they get there they find the island to be full of monsters and
...
stuff, and hence the wild goose chase for the Elixer of Life begins. So how is the plot, really? Honestly, it's really solid. It kept me interested. The one issue I will warn you of is that the pacing of the show can be a really slow at times. There's a lot of flash backs for characters that I really don't care about, so in 2-3 episode the plot will move maybe a few inches. That said, it DOES move forward. The seasonal cliffhanger about Gabi's wife is absolutely amazing and I can't to uncover the truth in season 2.
So speaking of characters, how are they? PRETTY DAMN GOOD. Okay wait- let me rephrase that. There's too many side characters who get screen time honeslty, but there are 2-3 that are really great. You will definitely love the kunoichi Yuzuriha. She steals the spotlight a lot with her charisma (and uhh, sexy body). Shion the blind Executioner is awesome. Aza is annoying as hell, but I guess he works. Now we come to our two main characters and the stars of the show. Sagiri is absoutely amazing. The give her a lot of depth. They give her challenges she has to over come. In a 13 episode with a lot of time dedicted to other useless side character, they actually manage to give her a really compelling backstory. Definitely a great MC, and I can't wait to see her development as the plot progresses. Gabimaru is the other MC, and yeah- he's the best character in the show no doubt. Thing is- when you first learn about him, it seems really simple. Like, he's a damaged shinobi who just wants to go back to his wife. But as his past is slowly uncovered, there's way more to him than meets the eye. I also like that he's not some white knight holier than thou I'm here to save you all and nobody will die idiot. So yes, you will come to love the characters (well, I'd say bout 1/3 of them anyways).
Okay, so this is an action anime, so how's the action? First of all, let me say the animation is amazing. Beautiful artwork. MAPPA gets in A+ with their animation. However, I will say the action is kind of....boring at times. Why? Because it suffers the same fate as great action animes such as Demon Slayer or Jujutsu Kaisen- and that is the humans are simply too OP. Monsters and gods don't stand a chance against humans. Okay sure, a lot of humans do die, but most of the time Gabimaru and Sagiri seem way too OP. The show builds up a group of main creatures on the island that are basically gods- they're strong, fast, and can regenerate. But in the end, yeah these "gods" are just childs play because the humans are even faster, stronger, and can learn new techniques that is really beneficial in killing anything. There's also a lot of tropes, like the bad guys monologuing and basically telling the humans how exactly to kill them.
All in all, this was an anime I enjoyed and I think most of you will as well.

This might be my favorite Dr. Stone season so far.
The past seasons were good too, but this season actually felt like it moves the plot forward quite well. In addition, I think the character interactions has improved a lot- at least that's how it felt to me. I actually laughed a lot at the comedy this season.
No spoiler, but the plot this season is Senku and the Science Team sailing out of Japan to find the light source and save humanity once in for all. However, they happened to stumble upon an island, which makes things very interesting to say the last- because that island
...
does indeed harbor other humans. That's all I'll say about the that since any further and I might spoil the plot. I actually like the surprises the plot brings forth.
Character wise, Senku is an amazing MC as always. I have a soft spot for Kohaku, and they actually give her screen time this season, so I really enjoy that as well. Some of her bits made me laugh out loud. Ryuusui I found annoying, but he is what he is. The rest were there too, but the best support character by far is Gen. The mentalist is way more involved this season and I'm all for it. I think he brings more depth to the show that other characters do not. So glad they basically made him the 2nd most important character this season. You will too.
As for the animation, music, and VA- they're all the same as previous seaosn. For me, they're all solid 10/10. I really like how the manga artist draws his characters.
I will say though- even more than previous season, is that this 3rd season you really need a sense of disbelief to enjoy the show. The time jumps are all over the place. Sometimes you don't even know if there IS a time jump, but just have to assume. Why? Because a lot of the science stuff they come up with should take YEARS to complete, but the show kind of just says they do it and that's that. Need a microscope? WHABAM- now you have one. Don't ask us how it happened or how long it took to make. Rail roads and carts? Yeah, no problem. Btw, this automobile is now fully functional like a modern day car. Okay so despite all that- personally for me I was able to gloss over this suspense of disbelief and still really enjoy the show.
So should you watch Dr. Stone: New World? YES, I think you will enjoy it.

First of all, let me just say I feel like I should've given this anime a 10/10, and it certainly feels like a 10/10. So if you're wondering if you should watch this anime, the answer is YES OF FREAKING COURSE.
One of the most amazing thing about this anime is the hype it recieved and that it actually lives up to the hype. It is really THAT good.
So what makes Oshi no Ko so good? Well for starter, the story is quite unique. Okay, so yeah it is technically "isekai" or there are isekai elements, but it's such a small portion of the story that
...
to say it's an isekai is kind of insulting. It uses the basis of "reborn", but more the element of relationships between characters. I think that's pretty unique and I haven't seen anything like that before. That said, I wish they would've pursued these past relationship further, but I know the show is saving it for future episodes.
What makes the show amazing, much like other amazing show, are the characters. Everyone is unique and special. Add in the great dialogues and interaction and WHABAM- you have just something that you can't help but fall in love with. So let's talk about the two MC's. Aqua and Ruby. Aqua is the doctor who got reborn as Ai's kid. He is kind of the main MC and carries the show. He's very interesting, I'll say that. It's hard to pinpoint his motives. Like, he says what he wants to do, but you can tell it isn't that simple. I think as an MC, he is great. Ruby is also great, but she doesn't get as much screen time. She is also one of the reborn twins who comes from a tragic previous life backstory where she died of a terminal illness quite young. Can't help but root for her. The rest of the supporting cast are all very good as well. They really do a great job making Ai seem like a real idol. But the side character who stands out the most is Kana Arima. She is hilarious and such a good support character. They also did a good job with her character development in such a short season. I love her snotty and foul mouth.
So I talked about the plot, but there are stories within the stories with Oshi no Ko, all tying with the main plot of course. For most animes, the side stories are a snooze fest, but with Oshi No Ko- you will love them. You may even shed a tear like I did. It feels very real at times.
Also, I must point out that the animation is absolutely a 15/10!!!!!!!!! Good lord some of the scenes and drawings were absolutely stunning. Some of them I swear I haven't seen anything so beautiful in anime before.
So why didn't I give it a 10/10? Well like I said, I should have, but I did dock 1 point because although the show is great, it does take a suspension of disbelief. You might say no duhh, it's isekai. No, not that part. Sometimes I feel like the show kind of glosses over things that wouldn't make the plot move forward like it should. For example, Aqua and Ruby TALKS as INFANTS, and one adult in particular finds out. But for some reason, they never mention it again. Also, Ruby and Aqua don't talk about their past lives with each, despite loving each other as siblings very much. They also know both are isekai- you'd think they talk about it. The show has a BANGER intro, great middle story, but the ending was a little stale. Not bad- still enjoyable, but it didn't wasn't as hype as the beginning and middle is all I'm saying.
That said, please give this anime a chance. It really is amazing. I already cannot wait for season 2.
