Mushishi's mostly slice of life - a relaxing show that explores old japanese folklore in really interesting and mystical ways
I would watch Game of Thrones, Orange Is the New Black, etc. and maybe 'netflix and chill' once in a while :p
But alas, i am a poor college student... literally just spent 400$ on textbooks ;_; no netf1ex for me
Yeah Mushishi is one of my fav shows and I'd say watch an episode or two a day and you'll have the most vivid dreams ever. Tbh if I had netflix subscription tho I'd never really watch anime :p
Btw I saw your tumblr. Is that you as the profile pic? :o
http://thejakedagger.deviantart.com/ there you go, some are really old and i havent been able to draw very decent in a while, i mess up the pose and sometimes the face, but these are the best ones, the last one i uploaded was like 2-3 months ago, i should try drawing again soon
Your response was so unclear that I had to make the joke :p... although my last relationship is the biggest joke of it all >.>
Haha Higurashi no Naku has been on my list for awhile but I've been putting it off. I'll watch it now that you recommend it. I've seen Haibane Renmei btw, and it's not as much of a horror but rather a philosophical anime that lets you fill in the blanks - anyway, I highly recommend it :o I'll check out some of those other series too and let you know what I think
For some reason your explanation sounds very much like my ex's reasons for breaking up.
Jk, haha.. ;_; But yeah the whole story was pretty confusing the first time around; I did like the intricacies and symbolism the director put into the whole thing, however. Any psychological show you also want to recommend? :D
Ouch, Penguindrums /was/ one of my favorite anime haha. I could relate to a lot of the themes in the show, but I could see the presentation (such as the stalker characters and opera-ish scenes) alienates some people
