Some of you, after watching series like Madoka or Bakemonogatari may have wondered what would romance series made by SHAFT be. Well, this is the answer.
At first, art. SHAFT's trademark, all those unrealistic sceneries and situations that together somehow make sense. I rate the art in this series as outstanding. Just watch one episode and you'll understand.
Secondly, story. This is the only flaw of this series - there was no real plot, basically every episode was a bunch of more or less connected scenes, so we can enjoy the characters.
Since we're at it, characters. Aside from the only significant male character being protagonist himself, this
...
series still deserves 10 in this section. I really liked them all, and when it comes to Erio and Ryushi (hehe) the combination of the way they acted and awesome art usually made me just stare at monitor and smile like a retard. They were insanely cute. At the same time cute like a puppy and feminine. Up to now, I never thought it is really possible.
I'm not saying that Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko was the best romance anime. In my opinion it hardly qualifies to 9/10 because of the lack of plot. But I'm not saying it was bad at all! I really enjoyed it.
The only thing is that some of you not used to SHAFT style may not enjoy it. All those unrealistic situations, talks, and just the way everybody acts may spoil the fun for you at first. My tip is, don't fight it, just deal with it that this anime looks like this. Treat it like an ongoing joke, and I promise, you will enjoy the series.
Aaaand, that's basically it. I hope I helped you decide to try out this anime, or to look at it a little differently with my kinda messy review. Also, please keep in mind that I'm not native English, and some grammar, vocabular or construction mistakes may occur. If you detect one, write to me, and I'll fix it.

In the moment of writing this review I've watched first fourteen episodes, which make a complete anime. I don't know what's in later episodes, and I will watch them. But this is a complete story, and this story, within only 14 episodes I will rate.
It's amazing. NO series amazed me to that degree since... I can't even remember. The story is great. The characters are great. The sound is great. The art is great. EVERYTHING is freakin' great. When they want you to laugh, you laugh. When they want you to cry, you cry like you just lived the most moving moment in your life.
...
It's just... so outstandingly great overall, that I can't even describe it.
Watch it.
Watch it NOW.
But seriously. It's amazing. I can't think of any better way to spend those 20 minutes every time.
You know, when I was beginning watching anime (mainly from ecchi), I suddenly discovered Angel Beats. From not really funny series with no real plot nor drama I suddenly jumped to quite good, funny plot, which would make even me cry. I was amazed. Watching SAO was a similar feeling, even though I already watched all the famous series. It's just this good.
Update: I have watched some episodes the second series, Alfheim Online. And now I recommend you not to even check it out. It's horrible. Seriously. Don't even try. I can only mention those not to spoil you:
1. Kirito is unbeatable and totally overpowered for this to be fun.
2. Tentacle rape scene (yes, I mean exactly it)
3. Other dude raping Asuna in front of Kirito's eyes.
4. TERRIBLE character development.
5. Plot not making any damn sense.
Now I'm wondering how bad can second series of anime get compared to it's prequel. I really liked SAO and now I'm just dropping it because it bacame so horrible. As soon as Alfheim Online gets his own title on MAL, I'm going to rate it 1.

Baka to Test is just another ecchi-like what-the-hell-am-I-actually-watching type series. It's not really funny, nor romantic. It's just one big "meh", like many series latey. Is's just so average. Firstly we have average school boy protagonist, with average friends, being traditionally harassed by some girls, everything surrounded by bad jokes about flat breasts. As always. Practically only funny thing is protagonist's older sister, but she gets practically forgotten further in the series.Like in fourth episode. The further it goes, the more it turns into even more average cheap school romance. Not even trying. Honestly, 11th episode was so unnecessary and overdramatised I gave up trying
...
to watch this anime.
Oh, did I forgot to say about title? Nobody even tried to think of something funny. "Idiot, tests, and summonned beings". Yeah. "Angel Beats" could be as well named "Dude dies and then falls in love". Really. Is it really that hard to think of original title?
The only thing, that kept me watching this was art and this little bit of plot that you just want to see what happens.
Normally I write who would enjoy series I revew, but with this... Well, maybe if you want nobrainer. In other cases stay away from this series. It's just not really worth the time spent watching. It's not really bad. It's just meh.

Disclaimer: this is rather first-few-episodes impression than actual review. It'll be probably changed when more episodes come out.
Sakurasou no Pet no Kanojo is one of those hard to rate series. On one hand it isn't really that great compared to legends like Death Note, but on the other it's outstandingly awesome compared to series of harem genre. I was expecting less, so my rating may be a little over top.
This anime is a funny comedy, good fanservice and beautiful romance in one. We have interesting characters, interesting story, great art, and really tempting ecchi scenes mixing with each other. Overall this makes an incredibly fun
...
to watch anime, one of the best ones I've watched for some time.
The reason why I didn't rate it 10, or even 9 is mainly because the more episodes I watch, the less funny it is, and is going in a direction of average romance tearjerker. I didn't really liked this, but I can honestly say it still makes a beautiful romance.
If you like series like this, Sakurasou no Pet no Kanojo is something for you. I'm personally really enjoying it.

Evangelion - heaven for haters. If you expect older Gurren Lagann, you're gonna have a bad time. There's most of things you can hate in anime. Whiny characters. Yaoi (many people don't like it). Threads that don't make any sense and are NEVER EVER explained even briefly. For example, ending. I'll try not to spoil anything. Ending is bad. Whole two last episodes of main character whining, and whining, and whining, and you have no idea what's up, because there's only ONE hint what's happening, and it... doesn't make ANYTHING clear. Some people call it art. Well, I can splash paint at the floor, and
...
then call it art. And it will be art. I can think of some deep meaning to this, but it'll still be just splashed paint. I won't say there aren't any enjoyable moments in this anime. I think that more than half of time I spent with it was enjoyable. But the end and few other episodes around 12th just broke, shattered and tossed away any good feeling I had watching the series. Let me quote youtuber with a nick gigguk: "It's like you have a feeling for some women, and she have feeling for you, and then you discover she has a dick. She can be the most sexy person in the world. She can love you like none other. But this all can't ignore the fact she has a dick." Anyway, let me warn you for the last time: Evangelion isn't very enjoyable series. The only reason you'd want to wotch it is to be one of people that watched Evangelion.

We all know these anime series that aren't anything outstanding, but you can laugh your butt off watching them. Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai is one of them. Just twelve episodes of relax and spontaneous laughter. There's one really outstanding thing in this series: there's no shitty romance thread even at the end. No crying, no love problems, nothing like this. Zero. This is actually why I rated the story and overall as "very good". Oh, and perverted gags sometimes that are at least at Nisemonogatari level. Fanservice exists of course, but it's not really annoying. And... this'll be it. If you're searching for ambitious
...
anime, that you won't forget for the rest of your life, go watch Death Note or Higurashi no Naku Koro ni. But if you're searching just for light, relaxing series, Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai is a great choice. Hope I helped!

Death Note is one of the best series of all time. I won't say it's absolutely the best (for example I liked Higurashi no Naku Koro ni better), but still on top.
Imagine chess and then add awesomness, and you'll get Death Note. This is the best way of describing it. But now I'll end glorifying this serie and try to describe why it's this good.
This anime contains of two parts, and you'll know when one ends and the other begins. I will call them halves. I liked the first half way better than second. It's like this for me: at first I couldn't believe it's
...
this awesome. Main character does whatever he wants with style. And then second genius gets introduced making this anime even more awesome. I lived from one episode to other, can't wait what they'll do. Then another important character gets introduced. Just for the couple episodes around this event this serie deserves being on top of the best anime list. But then there's one accident, we get a few rather boring episodes of not knowing what is happening and a couple of them without this tension and stuff. Then we finally get what we'd been waiting for, there's about two "old style" episodes, and... accident ending the first half happens. I didn't like much anything after it. We get two more characters, but they're just lame. And this anime goes like this, without the old tension nearly to end. I'll be honest - I stopped watching this serie few times, but returned to it there. And there's the end: three last episodes that are just too good. They're like all epicness that second half should have got released there. If anybody had made a serie this good and with 12 episodes, the world wouldn't bear the amount of awesomness, and would end. I personally thought Death Note has 36, not 37 episodes, and when 36th one ended on cliffhanger I nearly got heart attack. Seriously.
The first half and the three last episodes are the reason why this anime is scored so high. Go. Watch. Enjoy.

I won't write there what this anime is all about, if you don't know, you'd better watch first season or read a review of it. I will only write my feelings after watching second season. You are warned.
Apart from what I thought starting to watch this season, it turned out to be about as good as first season. It was a bit less funny, but the last "conquest" was a really outstanding story. I must say that as far I don't especially like sequels, I'm waiting for third season, which according to the very ending should get aired. And... I don't especially know what is
...
there more to mention. Sound was a bit worse than in first season (especially opening), art was exactly the same, the characters are still outstanding, and watching this is pretty fun. So there's it, short review of something that is just very good continuation of first season. I hope you find at least a bit of it helpful and I really think that everybody, who enjoyed first season, will enjoy this also.

This is masterpiece. This series have everything you want in one: outstanding story, great soundtrack, unique characters and beautiful art. It keeps you wondering what'll happen from one of first episodes to end. Also everything there have ideal proportions. Where should be drama, there's drama, but before you'll start to be bored by this it suddenly changes to different type. And over, and over. When there should be blood, there's blood, but not too much. When there should be something more intense like corpse or something like this, it is, but for a brief time. Enough to satisfy and not enough to make you feel
...
disgusted. And there are 26 episodes of this! I must say that I enjoyed every episode of this awesome series. I also should mention the end. People, believe or not, studio asread made somethind very unusual - satisfying end. Everything is complete, and everything is explained. You actually enjoy even the end of this series! I must say that no matter how I search, I just cannot find major flaw in Mirai Nikki. Better - it's hard to me just finding minor flaws. So far this is the best rated by me anime that I ever made review of. I don't have anything more to say. Just watch it. Now.

Ecchi is weird and kinda hard to review genre. Just the amounts of overwhelming everything fanservice are unforgivable if they are accuring in every other genre, but ecchi is basically created for fanservice which makes hard rating anime series like this.
Mayo Chiki is anime that compared to statistic anime is decent comedy with too much sex related gags, but compared to statistic ecchi, it's on a whole new level. Through series there were only few very unrealistic moments (including immortal incidental glomp). Also characters aren't just walking tits + main protagonist. They actually, believe or not, have some personalities, which is very suprising thing for
...
someone who started watching this series for a normal daily ration of boobs.
About characters - besides of a girl that dress like boy to remain being butler, we can find tsundere (they're everywhere), little sister that... dam-dam-dam-dam isn't into her brother and vice versa, girl with humongous tits and with glasses fetish (and of course into BL, they're also everywhere), and my favourite - girl who is incredibly rich, has her own butler, and isn't totally spoiled. Did you maybe watch Bakemonogatari, or Seitokai no Ichizon? In both these series there are characters that at first look like they are kind to main protagonist, but after a little while they turn out to be pure evil manipulating him and everyone around. And there is a reason why I gave this anime 8/10 for characters - she, milady, person that easily and with evil smile manipulate everyone as she will, make ecchi events just to laugh her butt off watching how others will act. She beats both mentioned earlier characters from normal anime series.
So to sum everything - this is without doubt one of the best ecchi comedies that I watched and also a pretty decent anime if you're immune to a little larger amount of fanservice. If you want to watch something like this - go and enjoy!
