Oh yeah, so I'm planning on reading that light novel, Utsuro no Hako to Zero no Maria.
I've heard it's really good but I can't decide between the Yen Press translation and Baka-Tsuki's.
I don't really know much about the translation quality or level of localisation of any of those two.
Do you have any experience with the quality of both Baka-Tsuki and Yen Press?
Oh Bakuman is just so good!! I haven't read much manga but reading that was a real treat. And as you said, it's so motivational and inspiring. :)
HI! ^__^
Monogatari is really good. So it's basically about a high school student Koyomi Araragi who gets turned into a vampire and helps other people who have been affected by a god, spirit or ghost(all based in Japanese mythology).
The animation, sountrack, VA, everything is amazing. I love the cinematography! You will never get bored of looking at one shot. But that's studio Shaft for you.
It's very dialogue heavy so if you don't enjoy the back and forth banter between the characters, it's not everyone's cup of tea.
It's great that you are going to try the novels but watch the anime too. :)
Anyways, if I'm not wrong, the anime has adapted more volumes of the novels than they've released the english ones...you should give it a try!
Oh, I see you are reading Bakuman. How do you like it so far? :D
Me too.
Well..I like watching almost everything be it slice of life, comedy, action, psychological thriller or drama...anything with a good enjoyable plot really.
Have you seen Bakemonogatari?
PS- Sorry, forgot to answer this one. I'm from India, too. (:
