KAORI (born 28 February 1976) is a Japanese voice actress from Yokohama, Kanagawa. Before January 2001, she was known as Midori Kawana (川菜翠) and Akiko Kawana (川菜明子) before that. "KAORI" is a portmanteau of Kawana Midori.

She is a member of the rock band SpunkyStrider. Her voice along with permission from 4Kids was recycled from the original dub for Jirachi Wish Maker which she sang the lullaby in both languages.

"Hey, Nana..." is probably the only line that will always stick with me out of any anime I have ever seen and will ever see, ever. Midori Kawana perfected the role of Hachi. Truly, brilliant work.
