He studied music with Hayashi Masahiko, Kitagawa Yuu, Watanabe Sadao and Fujii Sadayasu. In the '70s, after leaving school, he worked with Yagami Junko (famous J-pop singer) as an arranger. Together, they made a hit record "Omoide wa Utsukushisugite". In the '90s, he worked as an accompanist for Graciela Susana, Amano Noriko, Katou Kunihiko, and worked with a number of chanteuse, jazz singers. Totsuka is a member of Japan Composers & Arrangers Association (JCAA), and a regular member of Japanese Society for Rights of Authors, Composers and Publishers (JASRAC). (Source: AniDB) |
